Hello, so i've been at this for a few days now, searching the web and just when I think i've got it, it throws something stupid at me and i'm losing the will the live :C.

So here's an outline; The virtual entity module used to spawn like any other player, so I added "paramType.sqf" that I saw here which on my end worked. However, on the server, it would spawn the zeus into a black screen and if you press "Y", it will ping, not placeing you into zeus. I then looked at this which I found on the internet while searching paramType and I saw that they had used it alongside other things. I tried to implement relevent lines and I still get this black screen issue. I finally tried adding the offical version and working with that, however files tie into game files, which the "Arma Server" from the tools section on steam doesn't have, unless i'm mistaken.

I've hit another brick wall that I think this time, i'm going to need help with getting past. The file is modded, using these mods.

Any pointers in the right direction or running me thorugh things i've overlooked would be greatly appreciated. :D

So I read this like 3 times, and I still don't understand. Can you re-elaborate on what you're trying to do with zeus?

Sometimes I like to think as I started the whole "earplugs" thing.

W0lle: The only advice I can give you is: Do not try to understand BI. You will not succeed and it only makes your brain go boom. I would even go so far and say that not even they understand their own actions :-D.

Okay, so I want zeus to work like Master Altis, using virutal entities, however when I add it to my mission file and adapt it for myt files, it doesn't work. The Virutal entities themselves have had soem issues, but I read somewhere on the fourms they're are working again. Anyways, as before, I want zeus to work on our mission file USING virutal entities. I know I can go the easy route with just syncing a bluefor unit to a game master module, but come on... where's the fun in that :P

I know that you're trying to use virtual entities to make zeus act like it does with master altis. I don't know what happens in master altis, and I don't know the specific problem you have with the virtual entities. You're telling me what you're doing, but not what you're doing it for. What are you trying to achieve? What is your endgame?

Ahh I get what you mean.

So my group that I play with are going to have a map that allows zeus to run each mission. I want to use the virutal entity for the missions makers, but I keep having an issue where it will spawn them in with a black screen and our custom intro playing in the background, which they see. In an offline mode (Using the editor and settingj up a server) it works perfectly, however the server gets the black screen. The only way to get out of it, is to ALT+F4.as said before, I tried using various files but with 0 success.

Could you send me your mission? I have the virtual entities zeus working fine, but I don't have the intro you have that causes the problem.

There is a script error:

The source of it is one of your zeus modules, probably "set cost". Don't know why it errors though.

Other than that, I was able to load in fine. Placed stuff down etc. Played with the "God Mode" and "Game Moderator rights" parameters but nothing happened.

I was running only ACE and CUP and everything was running fine, so you should probably load in with less mods and find the one causing the black screen.
