the johannes marines from arma 1 look better then arma 2 bis ones and look more accurate to the gear i wore when i was in the marine corps they feature the modular tactical vest which also looks like they actually have weight and protect the units the bis marines plate carrier just looks too flat and looks like its just mashed together with the marines utilities.this is why i would like to have these units either redone for arma 2 or ported they just would enhance my custom missions just that bit more

yeah it would be nice to see more proffesional marines not the marines in arma the arma 2 marines look like they doont care they are getting shot at the ones in these picture seem like they would get the job done

Jonny's Marines are better textured and far more professional than the stock ArmA 2 Marines.

It would be nice to have some Marine's who look like they give a damn about their appearance (I.e. trousers bloused), just my opinion.

I found the Units from Schnapsdrosel looks great and usable for ArmA2.

Yes I know (Johannes work for "or whit" BIS), but Schnapsdrosel have made do this the "Desert" USMC Retex.

either way both of 'em aren't that great, they just don't seem right

yes very true the BIS marines dont look like they wanna try its not right doing that to one of the most awesome forces in the world

The ArmA2 Marines look like they don't give a damn, lack gear, and are overall sloppy.
I'm pretty sure the Unites States Marine Corps holds higher standards than that.

Ya Johannes marines look way better than BIs marines. The Problem with having them ported into Arma2 is that someone is going to need permission from the maker. And it seems like there is no way to contact him.

He is no longer active in the community. I looked for his e-mail to see if anyone would like to contact him but I cant find it on this site. Or his BIS Forums page.
