I'm in a bit of a pickle... I'm reading a tutorial on scripting, and apparently in order for the script to work, it has to be saved in the same directory as the user mission that I am using to test it out. However, there is one problem: I can't find the directory to save my life. I've looked all through Program Files on my C: Drive and through the entire ArmA folder, including the missions folder.

To put it simply, when you save a user mission in the editor, where does it go?

Hi eveningsky339, :welcome to armaholic

After you have saved a mission in the editor you can find it here:
C:\Documents and Settings\usernam\My documents\ArmA Other Profiles\yourarmausername\missions

Visit my family webshop desteigerhoutshop.nl.

just realized this post is about 8 years old....>.<

Added 43 seconds later:

screw it ill post here..

similar question but slightly different... In my init.sqf is it possible to direct the game to a different mission folder? or maybe even another drive... I'd like to make a D:\Scripts folder in my 250gb SSD, but I cant seem to make it read right. Tells me that my "D:\Scripts\Filename.sqf" doen't exist so Im guessing thats cuz there isnt a D: folder in the mission folder..... I have seen it done once before, in a mission I had downloaded. (Deleated since) I forgot to save it aside and cant seem to word what Im looking for exactly on google apparently... keeps coming up with how to edit you mission and that crap I know that already.... but my main hard drive is slow, it's large but its about 35% full and I have arma2 ,OA, and dayz all on the SSD but its reading mission files off my C... I don't like that.. that's why I put it in the SSD in the rist place.. yes i know when you mission is exported to a MP mission it makes a pbo in the steamapps folder and you have to open it with a pbo editer which i have and place all the files within for it to work or it tells you some error with a crazy amount of shit missing lol. so mission folder is in my documents\arma 2 (or arma2OA)\MPmission and because its doing so my FPS has dropped from around 30FPS to 16... wtf doing exactly opposite of what I want... The SSD copies 8gb in 17 second or some stupid shit, so its not a slow ssd its the samsung 250gb with 545mbps read and write but yeah i need a directory to another drive location, the folder location and the rest figure out...
