There are no stores around me that will have OA in store so i'm stuck with downloading it. Would Steam or Sprocket be faster? When I downloaded ArmA II, Steam took about 36 hours to download on my highspeed network...

I got ArmA2 from sprocket and was like 900kb/s, then when i tried OA it was slower but it was Sunday afternoon so that might be the key.

Well I guess ill give that a try then. Now is Sprocket kinda like steam where when I want to play the game I have to use sprocket to launch it?

No, it just downloads the game, when OA is installed you can delete the sprocket app.

I'm not sure about this. Will OA use ArmA 2 content if you have it? I know its standalone and all but I bought the original ArmA 2 boxed copy so if I get OA through digital download through steam for example and I wanted all those units ArmA 2 units in OA I wouldn't be able to get them would I?

Of course that would work, just as any other mix of released versions can "find" eachoter :)

Visit my family webshop desteigerhoutshop.nl.

I bought ArmA2 OA from Stream today and I have a question, can I use the CDKey provided by Steam to install the game without Steam? I have another retail version of the game (not from steam) Im asking because maybe in the future if I have to format my PC or something I dont want to download the game again from steam
