I too get this problem. I start up arma 2 and about 5 minutes in my monitor goes black and acts like its getting no signal and the sound stutters, forcing me to do a hard restart. Tried running with "-winxp" but to no avail. Any help would be apreciated.

Specs:
Arma 2 steam version 1.07....
Windows 7 64 bit Professional
Ati HD 4870 catalyst 10.7
8 gb of ram

Here is a video of my problem (recorded from my iphone)

Sower, I may have found a fix on the BI forums. Try going to your arma 2 directory, finding the arma2.exe, and right clicking it and selecting properties ------> Compatibility Tab -------> and check "run this program as an administrator" --------> Apply

and see if that fixes the problem for you. I have done this with my steam version and it seems to have worked.

Cheers Bro

Cheers Bro
