Hi, had a spare moment so i thought i would introduce myself. :)
I live in South Island, New Zealand and work as a freelance photograper so i don't really have a set home, although at the moment i am at "home" "home" :) for afew weeks. Have not played much different PC games in the past (tend to stick with them for a long time) and those have been mainly RPG's, Oblivion, Neverwinter Nights and Hidden and Dangerous 2(sqaud shooter) too name the main ones...and Arma ofcourse. Anyone else played H&D2? Ohh and I am 19. Apart from photography i enjoy "modding" :D my car :brik. Hmm not much else to tell really exept hope that everyone don't mind me filling the forum up with nub questions as i try to grasp this game and its editor(after searching first ofcourse :)).
This is a great site though i will just say, and wow I did not have to do the whole check the email thing to register that gave it 10 extra points in my view !
Thanks
bracks :cheers

Edit:cleaned up, removed unnecessary stuff :)

Very welcome Bracks :yes
I hope you will stick around, dont worry about filling the forums with questions, thats what they are for anyway :)
And hopefully it will help other people as well.

Feel free to post any pics of your car, I think Ronin would enjoy them very much (seems to be into the same area as you) as well as many others.
I dont have much with cars myself, as long as it drives and looks ok I am fine, my knowledge about cars is like this "." much :lol

Anyway, nice to read some more info about you :thumb

Thought I'd introduce myself too.
I'm Dan, 18 from Newport in Wales, which is scummy. I've jus finished my education and am hoping to join the RAF as a pilot, preferably fast jet. I can't drive because I'm too poor and parents are cheaper :D
I've never played ArmA online, because I'm so rubbish at it offline, but hope to eventually if there's a good group of people to play with. Love the site, the mods make the game so much more intresting (even though none of mine have worked yet :con ) and expect to see me around the game and forum being a particularily brilliant n00b. E.g. What does this button do? And driving into houses.
Hope to speak to you guys properly in game at some point.
Auf Wiedersehn,
Dan

I'm Jambo, critic of just about every game (Ben Yahtzee is the only critic who speaks the truth!) In all fairness having studied games design for several years before moving onto a full time job as a graphic designer/web designer I can be extremely critical of work! But its all gravy, I happen also to be working on couple of super secret projects! I also have a friend who works for Codemasters (last game was GRID) but he won't get me a job as a tester or send me any leaked copies, the bastard!

Hi guys,

let me introduce myself as all the guys did before.
I am 37 years old, live in Regensburg, germany an do shift-working for gov.
I am married an got one little daughter...and a second one is on production ;-)
Other hobbies: modelling plastik shapes (planes, tanks, figurines etc.) assembling, painting an airbrushing included. My last project is an 1:16 RC controlled tank "king tiger"...so i am looking for this king tiger project for ArmA...

Me and my friends are keen on ArmA and also OPF before. Those guys are also on work, so we nearly got time to play. But sometimes the wonder happens...we play as a squad COOP missions. (Squad Cobra Force)
It is up to me, to develope some internal coop-missions for our clan. So i will have the most questions in editing. Many scripts and methods are already understood and also done (where needed).
Cya,
Chris

Hi Trogman, :welcome to Armaholic as well.

Sounds like you are a pro with the plastic modelling hobby. At any time feel free to share some pics of your work in the offtopic section.
I am always impressed to see the ammount of work people put into these.

Hi! i'm Blackhawk, One of the most idiotic gamers of all time, but still i love playing some serious coop games, I live in southern England, Which is quite close to Holland believe it or not!

Things I hate most : People who warp alot, and people who swear non stop

Things I like most : People who work together using some sort of communication and that are not afraid to talk to me

Favourite game : Was ArmA, but is now ArmA 2 ;)

Well, I think nobody knows my background info . . .

Well, here I am : Felix, almost 19 yo, from Quebec - Canada, living in France and studying in England
(it's a real mess !). I love Music (all kinds), Cinema (... all kinds) and going through my limits (physical and mental, certainly not intelectual !!). Militarywise, I'm actually in the CCF which is a military formation for younger people (between 14 yo - 18 yo I'd say) in Britain; I'm lance-coporale for the moment :8)

I played OFP before and I was the Call of duty kind of player, I did not like the game (dumb me). In fact it is after I started the CCF that I thaught:" Oh fudgy god ! I should not have thrown OFP away . . . Mmmm actually it would be nice if they develloped a second one with better graphics and shit . . ."
Guess what happened a year after ! Give me a Aleluia ! I actually was just curious when I saw ARMA in a shop, I did not make the link with OFP at all (come on ! ARMA, OFP > How is that similar) !
But then, I saw "from the creators of Operation Flashpoint". "WOw" says my brain . . . "It's basicly OFP 2" said the seller. And here I am ! Happy as ever after with loads of children blablabla . . .

That's me ! :)

PS: If I may thank all the modders and addoners and graphists or whatever for their work which is just good ! Special Thanks to scripters who speak a language I never managed to learned !
Well done !
