Ok guys so my problem is I have placed opfor static machine guns within my mission, and as bluefor I can walk past them with no problems even stare down the barrel from less the 1m say hello and everything but as soon as i pull the trigger he notices I'm there and I am killed...

So how do i go about allowing him to shoot on sight? I have hold waypoints and Behaviour to combat, even without this waypoint they still act the same.

Any Idea's?

Not sure which behaviour it would be, but have you tried them all?

Its either that or its cause OA is really still at an early stage! their is still alot of bugs etc...
maybe its the AI are not perfect as you want them to be just now, lol.

1st - Check The Rules! 2nd - Use The Search!

I haven't tried all the behaviours but I doubt its that as the one i used should be the one where he is most alert,

Yea its probably because its early times, but still its an expansion so there should be no excuses with the AI, all other AI statics i have been unlucky to find in-front of me tend to take me down no problems, perhaps their is a script that kicks this in.....

I don't have that problem, are you doing a night mission if so just give them night vision goggles

gunner this addWeapon "NVGoggles"

With the latest beta patch they improved player detection at night when standing in light, you still have to move but at least they do see you.

When bluefor eventually get to where the opfor are its about 5am so there is a fair amount of light enough to shoot without NV goggles, but i'll give it a whirl thanks

EDIT

Added the NV Goggles and works a charm dunno why I didnt think of it myself..

Thanks F2kSel
