I looked at the hits and it looks like alot of people have downloaded it so to let you guys know i accidently took out the OH-58 Kiowa Warrior so just take that addon out I made it a 50 co-op amd now there is a aircraft carrier that has working catapults if there are anything that i need to fix within the mission then plz let me know but plz update your version

1. Can you make a domination or migrate this one for map Baghdad?

2. Can you make one that has all planes types, all helo types that spawn?

the baghdad map might be possible oncd i learn all of Xenos little tricks on the random order of cities and how he got the cities to have random soliders BLah Blah but once i figure it out ill let you know ive already pm him im half tempted to find him via email to make it even easier but idk and for the all the planes and helos that is my goal im looking for cool planes that are not in beta version and the same for helis and in the whole end ima have Naval Ships Aircraft and gtound pounder things as the Ultimate domination

Wow,

I was messing with the editor I am learning and I imported your domination (although it does not work correctly on baghdad), but to see some action on the map.

My issues which I am sure are the same for everyone is I can play most maps fine especially the official maps on almost all high settings and some with full view distance.... BUT....there's always something about this game...


Experimenting with such a large amount of AI on a mp like Baghdad is great if your on foot in a land vehicle and even in some cases a helicopter (well not so much), but anything ground moving, soldier, tank, etc works pretty much the same GREAT even with tuns of AI.

The problem is the flying.... :( sadly if you have an active map with aircraft, AI, helo AI, ground units in battle etc etc.. and really I mean a lot like 50 + units and aircraft the game just locks up un playable even switching view distance almost to off.

So this really has to be taken into consideration in large maps I guess.

I have been researching this problem for a while and mostly people agree there is two issues here:


1. AI = massive CPU power especially when engaged in battle with one another. Seems like the more complex the script obviously the harder the CPU has to work, and I have heard (not confirmed) that the game was not designed for multi-core processors?

2. CPU / Computer Specs = well all over the net is the great debate but the most common situation is that the CPU and or GPU can not process the AI fast enough which is the persons hardware if it is substandard, or its the game not coded to make use of the competent hardware, so the situation depends on the persons specs.

For me its a little of both I guess I have an i5 4 gb ram win7 64 bit, ati 5870 using drivers 10.5 (10.8 caused nothing but stutter on arma2 and FSX), and DX 9 - 11.


As great as the game is I guess we get spoiled of course I like to pilot jets in the game and I want a large enviroment no fps slow down and view distance to the moon, I guess we have to wait till the computer specs and the game coding is more polished then we can get what we all want.

Well once i get the "ultimate domination" i hope there will be another version which is why im starting a brand new domination map that instead of humans your facing the terminator robots lol but thats a huge WIP you can check it out by searching Salvation Day
