I am pretty new to arma 2 (I've been spending many months in the editor). I know a friend who is going to get ArmA 2 CO (the same version I have) and I want to play multiplayer with him. How do I host a match for us to play?

(Deleted last post, made no sense)

At the bottom left of the screen when you enter the multilayer server listing screen there should be a tab that reads "New" click that and your good to go.

I'm sorry but this is common sense.... just tell him the name of your server, then he will write it into his filter and voila!

It's fine, you must be new to gaming?

No I'm not at all. I'm just new to Arma 2 multiplayer. Strangely I have a passion for Tactical shooters like arma and games like Halo

ArmA II is pretty much user-friendly you just have to try for yourself and the really complicated stuff can be asked here :-)
