Hello all,
I have a chance to upgrade my p4 3.2 ghz processor to a Core duo 2.6ghz processor. A chance that will involve money of course- lol.I'm using an 8800 gtx now and will continue to do so for a bit. Do you think that I would see a difference?

Thanks,
atticus

ummm...I am not sure exactly because I am know computer tech. I do think you would see a dramatic difference in running multiple programs at once, and maybe speed up the game processing.

Wyte_Out.... That picture of that sniper (avatar) is cool. For some reason- it reminds me of a rattlesnake about to strike. The colors in the clothing- I guess?

Stick to the topic, discussing ones avatar can be done over PM.

Is your question really about running Armed Assault ( ArmA 1 )?

Ehm, What kind of motherboard do you have because Core2Duo = s775 and P4 3,2 = S478 ? If the socket is compatible the BIOS must also know this "newer" CPU before it can use it correctly so make sure the BIOS version supports this CPU or the system wil not function. And if the first two are no issue it will be a nice upgrade sinds Core2Duo (not coreduo) is twice as fast as the previous series even at lower clock speeds!
