@Rick
(I don't wanna post the entire message or part of it cause i'm too lazy lol)
I'll show you my point of view (I respect yours)
You say that EA doesn't take care enough to the stats and to the entire server part but...
I think that people plays or should play for enjoying the game and NOT because i need to show other "I am last level!!! Yo man i have all the weapons completed. Wanna test me bro? Yo cause i'm da boss here!" but this is not what i want to say...
So, if you like the game it's because you like the gameplay, the weapons, the team play, the classes, the graphics, the sound effects, the Frostbite, all that dust cause someone with big guns is shooting you, the vehicles, the explosives, the explosions, the dust because of some grenade, the gravity of the bullet on long distance, ehm... the dust (lol)... why do you take care so much of EA side of the game???
I know that you don't want to pay 70 € (don't know how much dollars will it be) for a game which worths 20 but it's different for BATTLEFIELD... I think that DICE's work is the 80% of the game against the EA's 20% (Servers etc...)
BATTLEFIELD will be a great game!! 10/10 for me and DarkXess and maybe 9/10 for you but i don't think that EA stupidities will pass on the gameplay. (I know there are hackers on pc but PS3 and XBOX 360 are hackless and are there hackers on every lobby? Is too much effort to change lobby till you get a good one?)
This is my point of view (Sorry if it's long and boring but i had to say)

@DeltaForce- I agree.

IW and Treyarch have a rep of making games the same. EA on the other hand changes their games. Every BF game has a different feel to it.

A little off discussion but Treyarch, well, i think it's better that Activision... However play the games you like and don't give a damn to other things or better: don't let other things ruin your game. Delta Out.

Not boring at all DeltaForce. I might be totally wrong about BF3, I hope so anyway.

I am very macho.

I dont know about you guys but this is just another Arcade shooter.

Id rather stick to Arma 2 thanks, Or project reality. About 91% of the BF3 players will be CoDplayers. We all know that because the game is mainstream. And what do kids buy? Mainstream games.

I've played Battlefield 2, And Because of that I'm Damn sure I'm not playing Battlefield 3 because of my previous experience. Everyone should just be a rabbit with C4's and machine guns.

The BC2 was a disappointment for me so I'm bit skeptical about the BF3
I think ill be looking the peoples impressions after the release and then decide to buy it or not. If they are supporting community and make modding tools i will buy it, but if not i will strongly think about it. Hopefully they are making lot larger maps then in BC2 to have more ways to attack then one little path...

EA and DICE were meant to release the new, 12 minute Battlefield 3 trailer on April 17, but it might come
sooner than that. While the trailer is still set to hit the web on April 17, DICE has released a cool community
challenge, where the trailer will be released as soon as Battlefield 3 gets 1 million “Likes” on Facebook.
In addition to unlocking the full 12 minute trailer, a version of the trailer with producer commentary will
be unlocked as well. The page already has over half a million Likes.
You can check out the Battlefield Facebook page to join the challenge.

Oh and guys & girls, dont forget our very own Armaholic Facebook page. ;-)

This has also just been posted, its one of the multi-player cities (no name yet) for BF3.

Looks big! cant wait to play this even more now.

1st - Check The Rules! 2nd - Use The Search!

I have to admit, EA hired a pretty darn innovative advertising firm.

Looks nice, you can only play in the highlighted area's of the map though hehe, which is more then likely true... they show you a massive map so you are in awe, then when you play you soon find out its a fraction of the size :-P

Yeah you're right... Sure in these games they will never let you play in a big city like GTA4 eheheh... But impressive anyway.
Sure the maps won't be small as Call of Duty games lol.

"Innovative" is the right word to put it. "You better like us on Facebook or we won't show you crap" ]:-> Lmao

True, And if you think about it, the game maximum number of players a server might support will still be 64 players (32 vs 32 Team play) Plus the game was made to be a fast action game. So I don't think that maps will be that big if they want a fast action shooter.

That could be a cut scene image for all we know. but then again BF never had a storyline....

lol i'lll stick with bf 1942,

Life is not an easy matter... You cannot live through it without falling into frustration and cynicism unless you have before you a great idea which raises you above personal misery, above weakness, above all kinds of perfidy and baseness.

hmm, sure it looks great, but it will never be as realistic as Arma. I got BF BC2 few days ago - sure it was lots of fun, but I`m back to Arma OA already lol.

It shows just what DICE are capable of with their engine. The ground rips and tips. Giant, ragged tears appear in the concrete. The buildings begin a slow, inexorable collapse. One takes out the helicopter, others fall into each other. In about five seconds, the whole city has changed: the ground is at odd angles, tilted underfoot. Buildings are lying on their sides, broken and ragged. I imagine scrambling through them, trying to escape insurgents while worrying about the inevitable aftershocks. The scale of the destruction is astonishing. Everything as far as the eye can see has shifted, the air is full of dust, the towering cityscape that impressed me at the start of the game just doesn’t exist anymore. This is why DICE have been building the Frosbite 2.0 engine.

earthquake simulator how nice of dice...... now give us co-op campaign and or the co-op campaign scenario maps
