Dear Armaholic, I am pleased to announce my next project for Arma 2 entitled "USMC Force Recon". Some of you have been anxious to see my work, so I can't help but oblige. As with my OIF tanker mlod release, this will be nothing but the highest quality work. Includes models and textures appropriated from the Johanne's Marines(With his permission for porting) as well as brand new original texture and model work done by me.

Thanks for all the encouragement and requests to see my work.

Basic characters right now. There's tons more coming your way.

Looks great! Would it be possible to add a large backpack? Like this one this one?

Dear Armaholic, I am deeply disappointed that no less than 5 members here have asked me to show them my addon and none have showed up to give feedback.

So here's some more screenshots:

I'll be honest I'm not a fan of the colour of the trousers etc or is it a jumpsuit? cant tell.... keep it up though, more units is always a plus.

It's probably the lighting. On Chernarus, it's more brown, on Fallujah or the OA maps, it's pinkish like how it's supposed to be. I'll see if I can adjust it to be more accurate. The colors are a real ass to do cause of how lighting interacts with them.

Oh yeah and it's a one piece flightsuit. It comes in lots of different colors, the more popular one appears to be "sand" or "buff" color.

armaholic has nothing to do with it. everyone posting in this thread is a guest, and has no association with armaholic. if they don't want to post feedback, they don't have to. I'm pretty sure there isn't a rule against it. If ya don't like the community you can only leave or deal with it. No matter where you go it will be the same. Doesn't mean your work isn't unappreciated or unwanted.

@viper
as cinco said, it's the marines nomex flightsuit/uniform. It's fire resistant (duh)

the color is fine, and it's accurate. Maybe he'll make regular MCCUUs but until then you can't blame the man for making his units accurate :)

nice and clean...

Thanks for the reference picture. I didn't notice the sharper penis plate before, must be an older version. I'll add it along with the older IBA.

Ah I see, well seeing that reference picture gives me an idea of what they should look like... and your right they do look accurate, somewhat weird looking without knee protection though... in the reference picture that is... The bloodtype on the otv is a nice touch, will you be adding more blood types to show randomness or just the one?

The Unit would also look nice in a black/dark blue variant (may not be accurate), good for Spec Ops missions etc

Being english I'm not a expert on the american military's style of combat dress; so excuse any ignorance ;)

Dark blue? Never seen that before. You would stick out like a sore thumb in the fallujah island

I'm thinking for night-time raids, a bit swat-esque... more an urban map then a middle-east one

fyi it doesn't matter what colour it is as the camo offers no concealment or camouflage to the AI, you could have a cloaking device and they would pinpoint you :-D
