so guys , i decided to have a break from trying to problem solve the gear crate issue and thought i would have a go at implementing my work on the base russian soldier model provided by bi and modified to hell and back by myself!!!! i have also used a couple of items from the johnnys SF units but not too much as to make these models unoriginal! i have finished a few more models and should be releasing these hopefully before the end of April army permitting!!!

here are a few screens of the new updates i have been working on!

couldn't you make it like an animation? I remember back in the day BAS did something like that for their Rangers and SF guys. Kinda similar to how they do with with helicopters for doors or the landing gear on the MI-24's.

Just a random thought. Couldn't you make it like a hidden selection?

I.E.
when the NODS are off it's in the upright position and the "down" position is hidden, and when the NODS are on, them being "up" is hidden.

yeah, not saying it should be an animation. hell if those fuckers flip down in a split second im not gonna cry, considering the way we board vehicles... jump into the air and suddenly sit, could even say you "duke of hazard" every vehicle in arma.

EDIT: and rabbity, do u recall exactly what units had that feature? id say you track them down and take them apart and look for the friggin scripting or w.e. it is ;)

Dude that was many games and millions of beers ago. You know how it is in the life of a soldier.. it's kind of like dog years..1 army year is like 20 civilian years.
