Well i first started with vopsound which is very good then I moved onto JSRS which I am still using now... waiting for 1.3 release which is soon, a very good sound mod which I fully recommend, though ACEX_SM is worked on with releases every week, it is also a very good soundmod.

Dont know WTF happened but I seem to have posted this in the wrong topic earlier :-[

There is no best soudmod.
People have different taste with music, same can be applied with soundmods. You like them or you don't. Or you like one but you like another one more.

You try them all and you use what you think sounds best.

I tried a couple of soundmods including HiFi and ACE_SM, and my personal conclusion is that vopsound is the best by far. You can run it at the same time as ACE_SM and it is compatible with ACE. Also, if you're using SIXUpdater for ACE, you can find vopsound there too.
PS. Get some big speakers for it :P

I was hovering my mouse to download it but didn't. I'm a chronic and spontanious mod downloader, and I'd download everything if it wasn't for my poor connection speed.

Well VOPS & HIFI were my best choice before! until JSRS was released! trust me, you wont be
disapointed with it, its an amazing sound mod, fits the blast core mod well having two awesome
mods together like that.

I see your new to all these awesome addons? haha.

Reccomended list:

JSRS / WarFX BlastCore / BWmod / GL4 / JTD / Shack Tac / True Gameplay & User / Zeus AI.

There are many more, but they are just some at the moment that comes to mind.
(I would also provide links, but im off to work now, have fun)

I wouldnt say im new to the addons, so far the ones I have left (after deleting a lot of useless or FPS ruining ones) are:
All ACE mods,
vopsound,
WarFXparticles
TrueGamplay
TrueUser
stMovement
a bunch of islands and vehicles, and all the mods that the above depend on.
My computer can only handle so much epicness before it blows up, also, compatibility becomes a issue :(
No need for links. It's easier for me to find them then for you to link it.

ST Hud is a good one to have if your in a close formation squad and cant be doing with turning your head to see who is behind you, it lists classes aswell i.e. Team Leader, Medic, Anti-Tank etc.... if you opt for BlatCore you can delete WarFX Particles as this just gets overwritten... also as I said in my last post JSRS beats vop any day imo, but if your limited on what you can download best wait for the release of 1.3 :-)

I just need to find the best of everything and stop changing it *WALL*
*Currently downloading all mods suggested except the soundmod (even though its HIGHLY suggested) because my templates rely on vopsound. Its really weird that they do tho...

just delete the vopsound classname in the mission.sqm ;-)

and as fox rightly says there isn't a "best" mod, it all depends on your opinion of it, as we all have different taste's...
