The site has been fine for me. its been centered since the add came. i thought it was some cheesy browser game, but it looks nice.

Life is not an easy matter... You cannot live through it without falling into frustration and cynicism unless you have before you a great idea which raises you above personal misery, above weakness, above all kinds of perfidy and baseness.

Comment from "Mr. Adblock"

Nice idea, fits perfectly to the site. Not annoying either.

Site/forum is not perfectly centered but also not screwed up. It's okay for me.

Its nice, but for first impressions it kinda throws off the site purpose. (Visually) I see pictures of Arma at the top but World of Tanks all over the place. I Haven't been to this site in over 2 weeks and thought I come check it out real quick to see any thing new, Next thing you know I have the feeling that World of Tanks taken over.

Plus. If you go to the very bottom of your site, The Color of the text is very hard to read due to the background image. (I know your thinking "well who cares about the Disclaimer and all that" Well who knows, Just to be on the safe side).

But honestly, is this game really that much fun?

Hey guys, just to give some actual feedback on this game "World Of Tanks" ...
its awesome! but beware, its really addictive, lol. Ive played it all night and its now
10:54am here where I am, I started playing it around 1 or 2am, it really is a good
game and I can see this being one of the top online player games, I should also
point out that its quick, no lag, and always always has a full online community.

Only one bad thing is,.. I need Soooooooooooo much credit/xp on there to get
my next tank! lol, its a difficult game to start off with at first! make some friends
and join a platoon who can help you out, DO the training first as it really does help
and you do need as much help before going into game as you lose points for having
your tank damaged/destroyed, so go to battle prepared.

See you on the field tankers!

No Arma related company is interested to advertise on Armaholic. They might on game websites, just noton a fansite as they fail to see what extra revenue an ad on a fansite will bring since most visitors already play their games and if not they are already interested in them. I already spoke about that with BIS staff a long time ago.

Now, since many people use ad blockers and the donation level is to low on an avarage to even think about it I need other ways to support Armaholic as well to be able to do what I like.

Yes, your right. I did not do that since I needed to edit the footer anyway (need to ad reinforcements). Will do it somewhere this weekend.

I won't start a discussion here about ads in general but that many people are using adblockers is the very own fault of the creators of such crap. I'm simply tired of ads popping up while reading a text and with a 'close' button which, if you dare to click on it, opens yet another tab with ads or the target site. Or ads moving around the screen with flashing 'buy here - now!!!' texts in all kind of stupid colors.
No problem with ads in general if they are banners in decent colors, and silent. But the majority of todays ads are simply there to aggressively promote there stuff and annoy users.
This one here is just perfect like I said, not only it adds a nice background to the site but it's also not annoying and fits to the target audience. If I would have time, I would even try that game.

As for donations. Typically for todays generation. 'Why pay when you can have it for free.' And with little luck people even complain about the free service. Maybe it would help if you create an extra 'donate' frame with the Paypal banner and the costs for the recent month. Would give some people an idea how much money is spent on their favorite website.

Or alternatively, like suggested a while back: Premium area for donators with some goodies. :-P

And yeah, the line with Privacy Statement, Terns of Service etc. is still (or again) very hard to see due to the gray text color.

It took me some time to sort this out but I have managed to fix the ad, its centered and also the clickable area is now no longer limitted.
Its running on our test site and I am waiting for feedback to hear if its working correctly for everyone.

I must admit, what a relief it is to see the site centered again. Learned some new stuff past few days which enabled me to fix it :-)

When the new changes are ok'ed I will implement them on this site asap.

Added 22 hours 59 minutes later:

Update

Changes applied.
If you experience any issues let me know but the site should be centered now and the clickable area is fixed as well (the entire erea is clickable now).
The width of the background is limitted to what I have been provided with by the artists. so if you user bigger monitors you will have black bars on both sides. I could try to change that color but thats it.

I hope this is much better for everyone now. :-)
Sorry for the bad website layout at first but I had only a few days to fix it myself after someone had to drop out while I had no clue how to make this work correctly. With some help from kerberos another website who uses this whos page code I could see and google I was finally able to make it look how it should :-)
At least I learned some new coding which in the future will come in handy anyway.

BTW, you may have to refresh the page to see the changes as the old pics will be in your cache!!

The left half of my screen is a invisable link to world of tanks. It all looks normal, save for the mouse changes on the left side. It made it a challenge just to get here and report the problem. No screenshot because it looks the same as ever.

I am very macho.

Site is still "broken?" in chrome for me, some links such as the newly added suicide funtion script point to WoT, also some links like login or download links etc are not activated at all?

Thats with multiple CTRL-F5's

just a heads up.

Keep well your spirit!

Yes, something is wrong. Not sure Fox is doing some adjustments.
In IE9 it happens the same.
In Opera it works fine.
