Sure have and I'm enjoying it greatly, unfortunately my flight stick is acting up badly and needs replacing.

Been a while since I've been on here but when I saw that apache I had to say something. It looks staggering mate. Awesome work! Anyway, we all hate unwrapping, thats because its tedious and painful to say the least. Here's a possible solution...

I hope you step on a piece of Lego you bastard.

Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately?) I've already finished the UV mapping though I need to go back and fix a few things apparently..the checkers LIED TO ME.

Took three textures as I figured it would but that includes everything from A model to block 3, the DIRCM pods, israeli kit, UK kit and so on. I literally JUST started texturing so I'm only in the painting phase but this is what I have thus far.

Ups, reverse engine door.

Just looks immense though to be honest, My PC's fucked so I can't even play the game! It's sad because this is one of those addons that looks pure quality.

I hope you step on a piece of Lego you bastard.

Ouch, I hate it when the PC goes down, always painful..but no worries, I'm sure you will have it back by the time this thing is even in a more public ready stage :)

Well my laptop does run Arma2 but only on really limited graphics settings, I'll still give it a download and buzz it about for a bit. I've been too snowed under with a couple of projects to even get a bloody game going! That unwrella thing turns out to not be too amazing if im honest about it, its not that it doesnt work but its like the unwrap just leaves the whole thing in a bit of a mess! so yeah, do it the old fashioned way! :P

I hope you step on a piece of Lego you bastard.

Indeed. I was given the option to use unwrella but the more I thought about it..sure the hyper efficiency is nice but it works both ways, what good is a UV map if you don't have a clue where things are.

Just a small update, finally got the textured bird ingame, need to get the rvmat business sorted out but it bears a strong resemblence to the renders, the color is just what I was looking for..on bright clear days the paint differs in greens, with overcast it appears more grey, as the day gets later it starts looking more and more brown. I haven't done much of any texturing on it (just color layering and no rvmat yet) so it is mostly dull still.

Since the radar was a large concern for many I hope this comparison pleases.

It's a big bird, and this is with the landing gear pushed up!

Looks great Nod, in this image what is the highlighted part?

Also your last two links are the same mate, I think you meant to point the last one to your album.....

# NodUnit : Yup! we already have passenger seats set on the sides for emergency rescues and drunk transportation.

Nice, I asked about this over at bi forums but was laughed out of the thread... :-P

Oh that is just the rotor of the BI apache, they were side by side when I took the pics, it was originally part of comparison but eh it makes a good stand alone example.

The idea sounds silly I'm sure but the army does kind of train for this sort of thing.

Even if it doesn't get used much, the fact that it exists is enough to warrant inclusion (that and since we had it in the OFP version)

And yes it was supposed to lead to the album, fixed now thanks for pointing that out x_x

When it was released you would have seen this in the complete section and there would have been a downloadlink.
Please do not dig up old and inactive threads asking for news.

We had a few hurdles to overcome and both of us needed a bit of a vacation from the project, but we're turning the gears once more.
