HiFi is pretty amazing, definitely my favourite. Has the right kick to the guns for sure.

HiFi SFX:

HiFi Weapons:

That's a start, forget where I found the rest but I have the following:
@hifi
@hifi_ace
@hifi_air
@hifi_extras
@hifi_sfx
@hifi_vehicle_weapons
@hifi_weapons_long

Sorry I'm not more organized, have fun :)

I favour the Ace sound mod,i tried some of the others but they where not to my liking.Check out some you tube vids so you can get an idea of what each mod sounds like,i would say anything but vannila is an improvement.

You see? Everyone posts a different one.
And thats the whole point about sound mods and mods in general........... there is no best (sound)mod. The best is what you like the most personally and luckely everyone has a different taste.
Just download them all, try them and pick the one you like.

And with many of them you can mix and match different .PBOs into one folder to make a custom set of sounds.

JSRS is the best hands down, with his scripts no others come close. Hifi sounds are old and outdated.

I like JSRS the most and I think it may be the most known sound mod for Arma.

What I like best about it are the distance sounds and how the battle seems to around you even if you're quite far away. I think the quality of the sounds are unmatched but like Fox said it all depends on what you're looking for. I personally have tried all of them and some are GREAT in some factors than others for example airsounds, I do preffer the quality of hifi for air sounds but not so much for guns...You can mix and match like it's been said but I just think JSRS is the better package as whole. Try them out and find out, it'll cost you nothing:)
