i noticed when playing with the models last night thst there was an issue with the head shadow on "cpt knight" (TL) i went ahead and fixed that but i am not going to throw another release out yeat as i am sure you are all sick of having to update the file every freaking day lol. i will probably work on a few more things, more glove textures and more boot textures and other features. if you spot any other problems/issues let me know, thanks guys!

So we just need the basic ACE mods for this to work...am I correct?? Because when I tried to jump on our server after updating the mod, I got *all* kind of weird errors about backpacks,rucks and such...because this was a non-ACE game, and just a basic Domination, am I right to assume this is the issue??

Sorry if this is a redundant question, but I'm fairly new to Arma and mods and such (only been playing since January), but just want to make sure that I/we get all of the mods loaded to properly run the game....in fact we are uploading the ACE stuff right now...

Another question, if I may...Where in the command line do the ACE mods go...I will do a search, also, but just thought I would ask....Thanks!!

Can not load texture rangersdata/dgary_smdi.paa
Other then that they work great!
Perfect match for the adiyaman map, quick qeustion about pistols...anyway of making the pistol dissapear from the holster after it's pulled or no?
not a big deal really, just curious.

The Ranger stuff is independent from ACE. Only if you additionally use the daveygary_backpacks.pbo, then you need ACE, but these extra backpacks are not needed (they are retextured versions of some ACE bags). The rangers will have their default camelbaks, and they can also wear any other backpack you have in game. Similarly, the tactical glasses are not required as well for the rangers. So you only need one single pbo to use the rangers, and maybe the replacement pbo if you want to override the default ACU-camoed BIS-Deltas in some missions.

Dave, maybe it would be better to launch three independent addons from this: 1) just the backpacks, 2) just the sunglasses, 3) the rangers with the replacement config. Much less confusing for people, and they wouldn't need to download the whole 230 MB if they only need one component. Ideally, you sign each file, don't forget your davey79.key file and add a short readme.txt.

Looks like a typo ("rangersdata" instead of "rangers/data") in one of the model files. Should be easy to find and fix.

well i added a few new things this weekend, new boot, glove and shemagh textures plus i fixed the dgary.smdi error (the rvmat for brainbug was still affiliated to my old ranger pack lol, i didnt notice because i still have the old one installed so it was finding the texture)











this is just the rangers, dont delete the backpacks, glasses or the delta replacement!

LOL I was just logging in to let you know the error was with both "SPC Brainbug" models. Anyway, very good job with these models and thank you for all the time you have put into them.

Will you be making a "read me" explaining how to use all the features of this add-on?
