Hello, I'm trying to make a mission. In the mission you snipe a person out on patrol but his buddy just walks past by him after a few minutes like it was nothing.

The way it's set up, is you have two men on seperate patrols. Each patrol route eventually intersects each other. So if you drew a line of their waypoints, it would look like a cross. Anyways, if I take one of the guys out while the other isn't looking, everything is fine. If I take one out while the other is looking, then they start searching, which is good too. However, if I kill one while the other is far away and out of site, when the other soldier is on patrol, he just walks right past him like nothing happened and like he's not stepping on his own soldier's dead body.

Is there any scripting or triggering I could do to make it check to see if the guy's alive or not and if he's not, he moves off to a search and destroy waypoint or something?

What I had set up was this:

Waypoint 1: Safe, limited, move. Condition: True
Waypoint 2: Safe, limited, cycle. Condition: True
Waypoint 3: Combat, normal, open fire and engage at will, Search and Destroy. Condition: !Alive Enem1

I named the soldier enem1 but it never works, the guy just goes on cycling for ever, even if I take a sniper shot.

Any help is always welcomed!

Using Intelligent Patrols as a template, I tried this route for enem2...

Waypoint1 - MOVE
Waypoint2 - MOVE
Waypoint3 - CYCLE & Synchronize the following trigger, size 0,0

Activation:None,Once
Type:Switch
Condition:enem1dead

Waypoint4 - MOVE, Open Fire, Combat, Full
Place the following Trigger, size 0,0,

Activation:None,Once
Type:None
Condition:enem2 distance enem1 < 10 && !alive enem1
OnActivation:enem1dead=true
