Please watch the video,
I made a civilian vehicle patrol a road, go to a village then come back , but instead of doing it, the driver just gets out of the car and stares at me like a moron ...what's wrong ? how do i fix it ???

Re-write the waypoints...but...

You do not need 84 waypoints. Put the first waypoint near the truck, then another at the end of that road, or even just one at the destination. The truck should follow the road ok.

Not sure why it says 84 in your first truck waypoint, has it somehow looped back to the beginning?

:-)

Waypoint 1 : MOVE near the truck
Waypoint 2 : MOVE near town
Waypoint 3 MOVE near truck
Waypoint 4 : CYCLE near waypoint 1

....that's all folks....!

thx for the reply man, lol i didn;t knew all it took where so few waypoints, if you look at my map it's almost black because of so many waypoints lol, i first made a unit with about 40 waypoints and i saw the car crashing into houses,fences and poles so i thought i need to put more waypoints :)) it's a pain in the ...

i'm going to try as you said and see if it works

another thing i found out is that if i remove the russian insurgents near the civil he follows the waypoints just fine, but i can;t remove the military units because that would ruin the whole iddea of trucks moving prisoners to the execution place "mass graves" :D you need armed units to supervise this kind of activity

what i'm doing is a mission involving the whole island :)) total war, you start in the lower left corner in a military base and need to free the whole island, i made almost 10% of the island :)) 90% left to do :D

- 3 factions, independents, russia and usa all enemies with eachother
- limited military vehicles to use as you please, when depleted, you must use captured enemy vehicles or conquer an enemy base to use their vehicles
- a resuply of units at your command 30 max
- some helping armies available in radio commands to help free heavy guarded major towns and enemy bases
- heavy active civilians and cars
- heavy strategy and planning required i'm trying to imitate as realistic as i can a real war

Civs are set to avoid East by default.

put this in a game logic or units init line civilian setfriend [east,1] that stops all Civs seeing them as enemy.

another way is group a Civ to an East with the East units probability set to 0 result Civ thinks he's East.

You can also try this setcaptive true in the units init line, I think that works.

hmmm...are they set to combat mode,? sometimes the civvies see a threat and abandon thier vehicle.
Alternatively, just make him an insurgent by creating a Russian Insurgent of a higher rank than the civilain, group him to the civilian, then in the Insurgent Units init:
civinsgrp=group this;deleteVehicle this;
Now your civvie truck driver will be an insurgent and should not be perturbed by the military presence

Added 42 minutes later:

Can someone tell me how do i make markers dissapear ? I have markers on all objectives and i want them to disapear when the enemy has been eliminated from the area, to make it easy to keep track which towns are freed and which not

Added 20 hours 34 minutes later:

i ran into the 144 groups thing :(( well ...there goes my mission ...there goes my work ...out the window ...so many houres spent for nothing ...
