Hello :)

First of all
If Project Reality threads are not allowed on Armaholic (seeing that they are not on BIS forums), I promise I won't cry if this thread gets closed/deleted. But here goes:

If you (for whatever reason) want to start PR without the praa.exe, and access the MP browser:

1. Edit an A2CO shortcut of your choice and add
-mod=@pr
as you would in the non-PR world.

2. Start the game using that shortcut. You will see the black screen with warning message about not using praa.exe.

3. Press TAB 3 times until you see your profile name highlighted in the top right corner of the screen.

4. Press TAB 5 more times and then hit Space. The MP browser loads.

Pointless you say? Perhaps, but I'm just sharing in the spirit of this open and (mod)friendly community *YAHOO*
Seeing mods 'locked down' like PR isn't something I'm used to but of course that's the devs' decision..

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Furthermore..
My clan [XSYS] Sweden is running a dedicated Project Reality server (unofficial) at:
IP 83.233.77.169:2302
.
Alternatively, just filter on 'xsys' or leave the default '[@PR]' filter on and the server will show up in the browser.

To be able to join this server, or any other unofficial one, you have to use a modified praa_core.pbo.
This is available for your convenience in this download archive (link: http://bit.ly/ouoYbd ).

Installation:
1. Download from above link
2. Unzip and copy the @pr folder from the download archive to your A2 directory, where your existing @pr folder should be.
*Make sure to back up your original praa_core.pbo first*

To play on an unofficial server like [XSYS] Sweden you don't need to run the crude "hack" bypassing the praa.exe. You just start PR using the shortcut that was created during the PR installation. But you do need the modified praa_core.pbo, otherwise PR will complain about joining an "unauthorized" server.

I will make some more updates to the Green Zone mission on our server with some tweaks and stuff here and there. Just to keep things interesting. Whenever I do I will update the download link accordingly.

That's all =)

PR Green Zone mission updated!

Now you can battle it out in the mountains of Torabora :)

Mission features:
#Extra gunracks containing:
West (limited); M4A1 Aimpoint, M4A1 RCO GL, M249 SAW, M249 Scope, M24 Desert
East (limited); AK107 Kobra, AK107 GL PSO, SVD
#Force grass OFF (to improve framerate which can be a real issue in PR)
#enableEnvironment=false (again, for the framerate)
#25 vs. 25 players max
#Did I mention Torabora? =)

Requirements:
-Project Reality 0.1 Beta
-this download archive
-Torabora

The Green Zone Torabora mission is currently running on the [XSYS] Sweden dedicated server at IP 83.233.77.169:2302, so that's where you need to go *THUMBS UP*

Credits:
*Project Reality team for PR original addon files, missions and scripts etc.
*Chill for the beautiful Torabora map

See you out there :-D
