hi, i'm new to the forum and i've tried to take a look around sound mods; i am looking for some mod to the default east weapons sound, which i deem totally unrealistic (especially the 5.45 ones, they sound like some underpowered rimfire cartridge.). Now this is something that was in the game since ofp, though this was corrected by excellent community made addons. i don't know if this has been discussed before, i was hoping someone could point me to a mod or two.. thanx and bye

Hey Bandit78 and welcome to Armaholic *HI*

Many people have said the same thing about weapon sounds etc in the game is not realistic!
so more than 1 sound mod has been made, the famous and best of them all is "J.S.R.S" which
im sure you will find amazing! just search on YouTube for it and im sure you will be blown
away, lol. Anyways here is the link to the download page! sure you will love it.

my friend, i downloaded and installed the mod you indicated and i must say its totally wonderfull! man, arma2 seems another game! compared to that sterile, bb gun sounds of the original these are total warfare mayhem.. not to mention vehicles and aircraft (helis are amazing).. thanks for ponting me to this, and big cheers to the mod maker
