I been trying to find the answer my self and I have read a few things but they came to no help. I have Arma 2 Stand Alone and I been trying to down load GLT Missile box, I keep getting this error.


Addon GLT_Missilebox_Config requires version 1.54 of application

Then I get this error and it C.T.D.

Bad version 50 in p3d file 'glt_missilebox\glt_aim120\glt_aim120.p3d'

Can anyone help me with these issues please???? I have the latest patch out there for Arma 2.

You also need Operation Arrowhead for it to work hence the 1.54 or above patch error.

I have Operation Arrowhead but the way their set up, their not together. How do I do what youre talking about?????

Uninstall OA, then install it and when prompted if you want to install in the ArmA 2 folder select yes, if this doesn't show then just direct the install to the ArmA 2 folder, this will then create Combined Operations (make sure you use a new shortcut or let the installation create one). After that you want to then install the 1.57 and 1.59 patches in that order. Latest patch for ArmA 2 is 1.10.

Do I need to do anything with Arma 2 like uninstall that also? Thanks for helping me with everything Viper.

Yea I am kinda new to do this right here, I knew how to mod but kept it seperate. I do have a question about the target line, say if I have a mod now, do I need to change the target line for both Arma 2 and OA?

Ok I think this is tottally screwed up. I did what you said and nothing has changed. Still getting that error and now I lost Arma 2 Reinforcements.

Hey Viper I think I fixed everything, I had to uninstall everything completely and start off fresh, including deleting any saved information. I backed up my mods, then I down loaded Arma 2, after it down loaded I opened it once and didn't create a short cut, I then down loaded OA right after that and made it go to the same directory kinda like you said, I then created a desktop icon and it said Arma 2 Combined Ops I am down loading patch 1.59 right now so hopefully this works and no more issues.

I see, you should be able to re-download reinforcements as well and install in the ArmA 2 Directory. Then after you've patched it up to latest (Note patching with latest 1.59 patch, will patch ArmA 2 to 1.10, OA to 1.59, BAF to 1.02 and PMC to 1.01). After doing all that you should the add all the mods back into your directory and try again.

Yea it ended up working, thanks Viper, you fixed alot of other issues also with telling me that. I was trying to find more information because other mods were failing and after I did the combine ops thing, everything started working again, GLT, the F 18 mod, Mando Missiles, you would have laughed, I was doing it the hard way that wasn't worth it. I had all the games seperated, I had to go in to Operation arrow head to enter each PBO file one by one per mod to get the mod to work now I just put it in the Arma 2 file and place it in the target line and it works like that, so that takes so much work and time off my hands. I was asking other people this question a few months ago but they acted like I was retarded and didn't know what I was talking about but I was asking them if I should combine Arma 2 and OA, I guess they assumed it does it automatically. I put reinforcements back on and it works fine, all the games are in combine ops. Thank you Viper for your help, I seen other people with the problem I was having so I am going to go back and tell them how to fix it. Thanks viper for helping me.
