Description:
This addon removes the strong language from the OA game by edits to the sound files. No files were removed, simply edited and repacked, this preserves the game atmosphere without the strong language.

Installation:
As we always recommend use modfolders to separate the custom content from the official game content to prevent problems.
For different ways to set up your modfolders and use them please visit our FAQ.

When you are using the Steam version you can find a Steam mod installation and activation FAQ here.

Included .pbo files:
dubbing_e.pbo
dubbingradio_e.pbo
soundsmissions_e.pbo
sounds.pbo

Notes:
These are the original files along with the edits in the pbo files, meaning the total zip is large. I did not know how to accomplish this with just the edit files. Permission granted to anyone that knows how to do this, I'd be happy to help and provide just the edits.

Credits & thanks:
Special Thanks to Tankbuster for his original work on a similar Arma II mod and to carolinabanjo for the tips on the forum to help me get this into an addon (first one).

Finally, extra Kudos to my High School son that spent 6 hours of his day home from school helping me edit the sound files! That just simply rocks!

Thanks for posting the release here *THUMBS UP*
News is on the frontpage and you can find our mirror here:

PS:
You might want to contact kju (here on Armaholic), or on the BI forums (pvpscene). I am almost certain he will know and can help you with making this a much smaller package by making this more like a replacement config. A 400 mb download for just some editied sound files probably will turn off a lot of people due to its size. But that does not take away the work itself done by you is appreciated :-)

Visit my family webshop desteigerhoutshop.nl.

Hey Thanx!

So do I need to add this to the download/addons/sounds area, or does that get done after review?

It's already available for download. You need to do nothing. Fox tells you, we made a frontpage news to inform about this release and added the download page to the addons/sounds area.

Fox, also tells you to contact that person (kju) and he might be able to help you to make a replacement pack instead a full download, reducing considerably the size of the download.

In the addons list you can sort releases by : Title | Hits | Date | Author | Letter
clicking in the up arrow close to date it will list from newest to oldest. There you should find easily your release.
