hey huys, i have recently brought arma x: anniversary edition after playing arma 2 free for a while, i am very pleased with the game and am enjoying playing it. I do however have one problem; i can't install any mods, i have looked in the FAQ and am still having troubles. when i download it i select the addons folder inside my operation arrowhead folder and after downloading it is displayed as a '7z' file, which doesn't exactly pose as a promising sign when the FAQ talks about .pbo folders and such. When i click it i am also redirected to a black screen where i get the messages of: 'no entry 'profilepathdefault'and 'Shaders not valid(mismatch of exe and data?) '.I am quite new to computer gaming as a whole and have never had to install mods before, which were one of the biggest things attracting me to arma. Is there somewhere i am goin majorly wrong and if so does anyone have any advice they may offer on this situation

Welcome to Armaholic :-)

You first install a program to unpack an archive, we recommend using 7z but you can also use winrar. Inside these archive you will find the pbo files you are looking for.

Second sentence in the FAQ you refer to:

When we download an addon, normally a zip or rar compressed file that we can open using 7zip compressor, we have three options to install and launch them.
