Can somebody tell me if it's possible to switch the sides of a soldier or a group and how to do it? I'm trying to make an independent group OPFOR or BLUFOR so they can fight another independent group.

Just group them to a Colonel Ranked BLUFOR with a 0% chance of probability.

Danger close is not an option. Its default.

That sort of worked, but now how I needed it. They won't engage the other units, they don't engage anyone at all.

I'm looking for a scripting command that will actually change them from blu to op or from ind to op.

There isnt really any command. Like I said, make sure the BLUFOR unit is grouped as the highest, and they should engage each other. Also make sure BLUFOR/OPFOR/INDIE are all against each other.

What you can do is go to your mission.sqm and look for the unit you want to change sides. Search for side= and change it from GUER to EAST or WEST . EAST is opfor and WEST is blufor I think,

Hope this helps.
