greetings comrades,

The 2035 Project is a large scale project that includes a set of Campaigns capable of throwing you off your seat with amazement. As the title suggests, the theme is a fictional story behind the years surrounding 2035, and the conflict associated with it. storywise, the idea is supurb, however, the campaign isnt the only feature to this mod.

The 2035 Project is intended to include the following:

-A breath taking story
-one or more LARGE maps to hold the campaign
-multiple smaller campaigns to keep you all interested
-a few smaller maps for PvP perposes
-over 20 different weapons
-over 30 Futuristic Vehicles
-three or more factions
-Exchangeable camoflauge module/system
-Exchangeable scope module/system
-Working vehicle HUD that is useful, and visible
-Player HUD for on ground use
-Rank and squad presentation for able units
-ARMA 3 compatible features for the future.

Game testers are required, and so are SQF scripters.

Yeah this looks interesting... can help with testing and maybe even some .sqf troubleshooting. I also have some experience creating missions with other 'futuristic' Arma addons like Colonial Marines, Halo units, GIJoe, etc not sure if that's at all useful :-)

As a little update to keep y'all interested, ive decided to show some confirmed WIP images for the 2035 project.

Activly working on the project now, just cause i got nothin better to do...

Some screenshots of the latest map ive been working on, may not come out any time soon.



the map itself is almost exactly the same as the washington coast area near Canada, where Seattle would be most likely. It will not be containing Seattle (As much as i wanted it to) due to not having enough people working on it, and Landscape complications. Instead, this 102km map will be holding several towns, a couple large Cities, three airports, a Zoo, and so on, which will all be explored (most likely) in the course of several campaigns, and used to their extent.

To keep performance levels inside capable, there will be a 15 million object maximum, and an objective of 6-7 million objects, which will either be created or used from modifications and such. Multiple Biomes will be used to complete the objective such as forested areas will contain feilds, a part of the map will be deemed a desert area (or grassland, whichever suits it best), and nearly 40% of the map is oceanic.

the goal is to create an atmosphere where even the people who can memorize a map very quickly, will not get bored within a month of gameplay.

looking forward to seeing yoall on some of the smaller maps sonner in life ;-)

As I have had other things to do recently, I was not able to get much done within the month, however, I do have some new screens to show.



I really dont have anything other to show.

other then that, I am trying to create Realistic RPG Cages where they will Destroy on impact of the net while not affecting the vehicles total damage, AT mine Resisting pannels, The ability to shoot though APC armor with tank rounds (similar to ACE) and other Vehicle toys that I can add to the Divers HUD

To say all the weapons will be bulpup would be completely pointless. Since this is a Sci-fi type game, ill go ahead and explain here:

in real life, the Bulpup design is both top of the line design-wise, and yet a double edged sword ergonomically. While giving the operator a much better speed and performance, in such a compact space, you also take away some of the things that make it comfortable to handle. a real good point would be training to use conventional firearms such as a lee-enfeild, and then picking up a famas to use on the spot. the same thing happens within a game, and can actually directly influence the players effectiveness.
due to conflicts like these, ive set up 3 distint nations, all at war with each other at one point or another, which all have a similar ideology, yet very different from each other. this makes planning alot easier, and also reduces discomfort --- theoretically.

The first nation i will speak of is Eltroslovalkia. Eltroslovalkia is an amarian style european country, which beleives in the tactical advantage. thier weapons allow for mobility and speed while delivering a heavy punch where it is needed. weapons smilar to the SCAR-L, the M24 and M134 are most likely seen in the foot soldier class. getting heavier would be the LAV-7, and the Main punch is the Leopard 3a1. airwise, you could look forward to a comanche gunship style of helicoter, along with the A10 and F35A.

The second Faction is south Armilla. I would put them along the type of Chinese/Russian doctrine, where thier units are not to the standards of the Eltroslovalkians Units, but are able to produce more of them. Here you will see alot of Bulpup type fire arms similar to the Type 88, the Famas, and RPG-7. Armorwise you may get the new BTR, T-100's, and of corse, the lovely russian jets that can actually scare you.

the third faction is North Armilla, and is kind of a hybrid, kind of not. they are a more defencive, protective doctrine that involves carrying more armour than shells. Weapons will be a long barreled, heavily armed bulpup Rifle seen below. the main APC is the HT194, which you can see in the title picture of this post, and armoured units in this faction are relatively large and very hard to kill. Air units are Stealthed, and fast. but usually carry less than ideal.

to answer your questin, there will be bulpup weapons.
