Hi!
I m new here at ArmaHolic and i need your help my fellow players. Soon its time for our LAN-parties for 3 players and we searched good co-op missions for us to play. One that caught my eye was especially this:Conspiracies: Rising Dead Hidden Danger. Since we like zombie mods, this would be awesome for us to try out. My friend said that in Flashpoint it was easy to convert sp missions to co op ones. Is editin like that possible for these Arma2 missions? Editin would only go for our LAN gaming nights as usually(not for share or anything) and i really appreciate and respect creators of these missions and i would gladly see more of them coming!! I m really sorry if this bothers creators of missions, i dont mean to insult or take anything from them. We just need good stuff to play and thats why i m here:).


PS. Could you suggest good co op missions(especially zombie mods!)i would appreciate that very much!Thanks beforehand!Sorry about my bad english.

Mission editing questions belong in the editing section, topic moved!
Additionally when you are looking for specific missions we have stickies for that in the mission complete section:
- Arma 2 - Searching for a mission - No requests!
- Arma 2: OA - Searching for a mission - No requests!

If you are new to Arma editing then converting a SP mission to COOP might be difficult, as you need to factor in respawn, join-in-progess, things being synched to all clients like weather, tasks.. other stuff I can't remember. It might be easier to just find a good coop zombie mission (there are more than one here on Armaholic).

Yep it sure is pretty hard.Chernarus apocalypse is awesome too. Only thing that needs editing is joining and playble characters for additional 2 players:). Maybe ill try look into it and searching other good coop scenarios!

Just add another playableunit in the editor and save & export as MP

Some stuff might not work, that's true, but it'll work mostly, if you don't mind not having JIP.

The description.ext is worth editing to add player numbers to the class header.

A gamelogic called server is a good idea too.
-- most scripts the default ...
if (!isServer) exitWith {};
..to stop them running on clients machines so you should be ok.

Any scripts spawning vehicles that do not have this would require it to be covered in the init.sqf

if (isServer) then {
nul=[] execVM "thisscript";
nul=[] execVM "thisscripttoo";
nul=[] execVM "thisscriptalso";
};

But you can test that stuff with your friend (e.g you get two helicopters instead of one appear in the game)

....that's all folks....!
