Hello again,

Not sure if you can find it, but try to search a hamil (Handboek militair) , all the unit patches standing in it.
I can try to make copy's of my.. but that will take some weeks couse its vacation time.

And for more information of the army, look at www.boekje-pienter.nl - mute sound when you go to the page.

Things im still interested in: (Also lots of pictures would help and ofcource they can be used for ArmA3 later on)

unit groups (size, armament, backpacks etc) & names of the groups
unit individual loadout, pistol, flare to IRstrobes etc.
unit patches, gear, camouflage & looks
unit / vehicle names in editor

First the new Fennek model can't be released due a rights issue with the GAF team. Gooz3 broke his mouse so all the F16 upgrades are delayed!
Right now I'm working on implementing the Tirefix script and trying to get the fastrope addon to work without errors. Then hopefully I can add the firebucket to all choppers and add a lift script too.


Here is the plan for this year:
4-July-2014 expected release of DAFmod version 1.00 worldwide, Hope we can make this deadline!


What to expect to that date:
Lots of Navy (Ships, Crew, etc.)
New Army units (KCT, AMB, Army)
New Diemaco Pack and textures
missions: Warfare, Evo, Domination
Some Real Dutch missions (Subject like Pirates, Afghanistan, Irak < You name it, wll make it)
Dutch Voices 9 male and 1 Female voice (PM me if you like to help)
GUI: Menu, UI & music


During that the pack will go true lots of changes, upgrades and refining. More stuff can always be added or existing stuff can be upgraded if possible!

We can choose from 4 Diemaco packs: DDAM, Villa's, Canadian or L119A1 Pack And I think nr.4 is the best looking.

The amount of work that you guys put into this, and the fact that its still being worked on with more new content being added time by time is downright amazing. Even tho Im not of Dutch nationality, I have a huge amount of respect for your contribution to the Arma community, especially those from The Netherlands. They must be very proud of having a dedicated dev team constantly updating the DAF module.

I myself wish to do a similar module for the Australian Defense Force but havent been motivated enough to learn the ropes of modding. :D

I always check dafont.com, it free fonts. The closest you can get is Armarillo USAF font found here:

-Thanks for the compliment, all the credit for the hard work on the boats go to the Italian Pedagnemod team and especially: Mankyle and Arremba San Zorzo. Only i think i made a mistake while converting it and now i only get 5FPS while using 1 of these ships!, hope to have it solved before release!
btw.: I can give you some tips on how to do what i do (never made a model myself (yet)) and how to convert. Just drop a note if you wanna give it a go!

-Thanks a lot for the link to the font, ill have a look at all of them, but i think this one is a little to 'fat' for the job:

I must indeed say this addon has made a huge leap into the right direction, very well done.

things I like are the NH90, firetruck, ofcourse the hms..ooh what was her name again.. the ship.
I wonder what we may expect in the future for A3 ??

For A3 we would have to join forces again with all the great addon makers in the scene but i spend too much time on ArmA2 for now. In due time i hope to convert 100% of the DAFmod ofcource. For me it is also a wild ride trough the 3D jungle and some goals seem far out of reach, maybe we could collaberate on a ArmA2/3 map of a Dutch region, that would be a great addition?
