Hello.

Anfield-Knight:
using the first method (no mod folders)
1st method and that would be what?
What mod are you trying to install?

1st method is not recommended at all.

Installing mods in your Addons folder will only cause you troubles, but it's your game and your time. The config goes together with the pbo i guess.

Config if setup as a userconfig will need to be in the directory same place as the exe.
Best use the mod folder method, your just asking for trouble if something goes wrong and you dont recall what files you added.

Again what mod are you trying to install?

Are you serious!?!
your trying to install the mod I built.

read the readme for installation which is included in the download it tells you how to install and what to install, plus the mod is all setup, nothing for you to do.

Installation is also on the download page:
Armaholic A2WarMod download page:
Installation:
@A2WarMod----------> (Put into your Main ARMA2 directory Folder)
Keys----------------------> (Put into your Main ARMA2 directory Folder)
userconfig--------------> (Put into your Main ARMA2 directory Folder)

A2WarMod is for Arma2 only by the way, not Arma2CO aka Combined Ops.
Just for your information.
If you want the combined Ops version then get COWarMod.

If you try to run A2WarMod in Arma2CO then only 38 mods in the mod only work out of 130 mods.
COWarMod current latest version is 1.1 has those 38 files that work in OA in it, the rest require Arma2CO (OA) to run.

Do not mess around with installation of a compilation mod like WarMod you are seriously asking to, excuse my language but F**k up your game!

Use and follow the instructions or the mod will not work, and
DO NOT PLACE ANY FILES IN THE ADDONS FOLDER of your ARMA2 directory!!!

I'm the Author of the WarMod series, theres a version for Arma1, a version for Arma2, and a version for Arma2CO, you cannot mix and match theses mods and you need to use the folder system already in place that I had setup for those mods or the mod wont work.

Understand? any questions?

Disable a mod by takeing it out of your target line.
as far as COWarMod run that by itself with CBA, dont run it with ACE, some things work but most dont, the mod needs to be made compatible with it, and will be done next month.

What is your shortcut target line?

I use steam to launch OA so its -mod=@CBA;@COWarMod;@ACE;@ACEX

ok.
latest cba is used like this:

@CBA;@CBA_A2;@CBA_OA

also dont use COWarMod with ACE as its not compatible, you may not see errors pop up on the screen or anything but things will not work for ace like their supposed to, wait to I release a COWarModACE version.

Either run ACE by itself or COWarMod, not both.

I believe so, i never use the expansions menu ingame so I wouldn't really know, my assumption is if the mod is in the directory then it should be able to be enabled or disabled from that menu, again i dont know never used it, never will, im old fashioned play the game like we used to in the OFP days just give me a shortcut and a target line.

But try it and see what happens, you'll know for yourself.
