Can somebody help me? I keep testing a mission about a lone civilian in WWIII with Russia, USA and Britain. It crashes after a minute. My thinking is that the init ACM variable is causing it. im uploading it so someone can run it. I made it in about 2 hours so its not that well done but my alpha testing is going horribly.
the addons/mods include: ace, acex, acex_usnavy, acex_ru, and i also use COSLX but i dont think COSLX makes a difference.

I don't use ACE ect but what error are you getting.

I really dont i just get a CTD. I would like to try to get rid of ace but i dont wanna lose all the realistic weaponry. also i like how the army soldiers use m4's instead of scars. more realistic. back to the business at hand you could download the mission and look at the scripts if you dont have ace. Im also starting to think it is COSLX because its the most buggy mod.

The problem is there are very few scripting errors that can cause a CTD and there is nothing obvious in the scripts. Dialogs do crash with CTD errors but in your mission they will only be coming from an addon as you haven't made any yourself.

Have you had a look in the arma2oa.RPT file it also contains an error list.

it should somewhere like this

C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\Local Settings\Application Data\ArmA 2 OA

or just do a search for arma2oa.RPT

I like SLX and I like ACE2 - but you cannot use both together. Choose one.
No other obvious errors in the rpt file. I'd suggest not using the ACM with these mods, see if that is the problem too.
Just suggestions.

Bear in mind if you remove a mod, you'll need to remove all units associated in the editor and references to it in the mission.sqm

yeah ive tested it with and without the ACM, COSLX, ACE, and it keeps crashing. Guess i better start the mission all over again

I thought I found the problem, in the init.sqf you opened a bracket at

[] spawn {
  waitUntil {!(isnil "BIS_fnc_init")};
  ...

Which wasn't closed at the end. But even with that fixed it crashes after a little while.

Then I tried it with the init.sqf disabled, same result.

Only running ACE2 here, no SLX or other fancy stuff.

Have you tried it without ACE2 yet?

Update:
Maybe, but only maybe, I have something.

There were two triggers in the mission with the condition set to "this " - with a blank space at the end. After fixing that I was able to play for 10 mins without crash - with still deactivated init.sqf
After enabling the init.sqf, it again crashed after a few minutes. :-(

Yeah this mission is wacky i created a new one with no crashes. i think LEA messed it up. long story short, its all set now
