Hello everyone,

I have a question about editing the Simple Support Module 'Ammo Drop' command. By default, a US Chinook drops off a load of assorted US ammo boxes. Instead, I am trying to get a BAF Chinook to drop off a load of assorted BAF ammo boxes.

I managed to change the helicopter, but I can't seem to change the dropped ammo boxes. Can someone give me an idea of how to do this? It was done in the BAF campaign, I believe.

Simply if you want the BAF Chinook or Baf ammo box, you need that playable unit are Baf soldier!

Thanks alot F2kSel! That seems to work well. I don't suppose you know how to limit the number of available ammo drops to one only, do you? I know how to limit the mortar strikes, but not the ammo drops.

This allows one drop and then removes the option from the list.


Usually placed in init.sqf but could used from another script if needed.
if (isnull player) exitwith {};
if (isserver) then 
{
     BIS_SSM_AmmoDrop_AVAILABLE_WEST =  TRUE; publicVariable "BIS_SSM_AmmoDrop_AVAILABLE_WEST";
     //here we use it to disable ammo drop after one use.
    BIS_SSM_AmmoDrop_EXPRESSION = {
        BIS_SSM_AmmoDrop_ENABLED_WEST = FALSE;
        BIS_SSM_AmmoDrop_AVAILABLE_WEST = FALSE;
        call BIS_SSM_fnc_updateMenu; //update list
    };
