Hello everyone,

I have an explosion effect in .sqf form (explosion.sqf) that I would like to see in my mission. I've added the .sqf file to my mission folder, and added the relevant gamelogic object to the mission (explosionpos) that tells the game where the explosion should take place.

The trouble is, I'm not sure how to activate it. Sychronizing 'explosionpos' with a trigger doesn't seem to work, so I'm wondering if there is some kind of special code that I need to type in to activate it? Let me know what you think.

It's hard to say with so little info.

I don't really see what your trying to synchronize.
If your just after a trigger to set of the effects on a game logic then in the on act of the trigger you need to execute the script.

null=[] execvm "yourscript.sqf"

But not knowing how the script works make it hard to be more helpful as you may need to pass more info to the script such as the position or gamelogic name.

null=[explosionpos] execvm "yourscript.sqf"

Sorry, I should have been a bit more specific. Yes, the .sqf only requires an 'explosionpos' gamelogic and script name. I just wasn't sure how exactly to activate it. The code that you suggested worked fine, the explosion is showing up in my mission. Thank you!

On the subject of explosions, does anyone happen to know a script to create an 'earthquake' effect, as seen in the EW campaign? This is quite a large explosion, after all.
