Ive been tinkering with the mission editor and I created a mission using the 3D editor, basically just placing buildings and such. I then took the 3D maps mission.sqf and messed with it and created a init.sqf to call the 3D map and placed it all in a mission using the 2D editor which I got to work perfectly (looks phenominal). I've placed all of my waypoint, triggers, units etc.. and completed what I want this mission to be like. The issue is always intended this mission to be a multiplayer mission. So when it was all said and done I saved to Multi-player missions folder which created the Operation "blah blah".pbo which when I play it does't have any of the buildings and such that were placed in the 3D mission.sqf. But I still have all of the waypoints and everything else I did in the 2D eeditor. Ok so instead since I placed 8 playable charaters in my mission I just grabbed the whole mission folder from the singleplayer missions folder and placed it into the mp-missions folder. Buuut when I go to play that one it gets to the lobby except its acting like there are no playable characters and my name is greyed out. Any idea's, thoughts or comments?

Using the 3D editor for base building is super easy.

Open the 3D editor. Place a center, place a group, place an AA specilist (live units won't transfer with this method). Then place all your empty objects and empty vehicles where you want it. Once you have your base laid out as you want save the mission. Now use this tool to convert that map into a 2D map.

You'll end up with a yourmap_2d.mapname mission that you can Merge with your normal 2D editor mission then you can save that, add units and enjoy.
