It is kind of hard to explain what I mean, but you know when you download an addon, and say if it created a new faction that is not in the game (e.g. EG), is it possible to change which faction it goes in?
I have this thing that undoes and puts together .PBO files, so I think that somewhere in that .PBO there will be a particular file that makes the unit be placed in a new faction.
So in conclusion, my main question is that which file inside a .PBO places / creates a new faction for a unit?

You might be able to extract the config.bin files to get to the chewy config.cpp's inside where it's likely to declare what faction something is.

Thanks, and I will try to make sure this is put in the right section next time, but I am still a little confused, maybe an example showing exactly where in the config.cpp / .bin

I'm equally confused. :) Are you trying to have BLUFOR units that are OPFOR or something?

No; I mean factions not sides. Factions like men, vehicles, but usually new ones are made in an addon. I'll see what i could do
