please, tell us more about the campaign.
description, what to expect, how many missions, if we're leading all the time or not, if it's only infantry etc...

moreover, could you make a non-ACE version of it?

i like playing SP missions and campaign a lot, but I don't play with ACE and people never make a non-ACE version of their work, which is, to my opinion, a shame, cause it prevents a lot of people from playing them.

It's a fairly shot campaign as it is my first every mission i have made public. It is 5 missions including the intro. It's mainly a "go to here any destroy this and try to complete this while engaging enemys" mission. It's focused on infantry but I made it so you can use Humvees as well. You are the leader in all the missions too.

Added 5 minutes later:

just sent a email to Big for him to host the mission on armaholic

Added 30 seconds later:

btw my specialty is in converting missions

The intro was a bit confusing. A chaotic flight across water with no intro or information. I apparently was killed right after being ejected. I teamswitched to another soldier and we fell, backwards, into the water. I told all the AI to swim to shore hoping that we wouldn't lose our weapons or have the AI just die. Then suddenly after a few minutes swimming the mission ended. No information on the debriefing screen. Was that all just meant to be cinematic? Might just use camera scripts if so.

Got into the first mission. One HMMWV was embedded in a tree. ArmA1 only weapons meant sparse pickings for weapons. If it's going to be ACE required you should include some of the great ACE weapons. Also no Rucks. At least we had tasks! Checking the map I see we needed to travel to the farthest reaches of Chernarus for our first sortie from our suspiciously inland FOB in a light skinned vehicle with no direct road from where we were to anything in the direction we needed to go. Ok, no problem. We stepped off and started driving across the countryside. Our gunner, or someone, called out seeing a helicopter. 10 seconds later I lay on the road, eyes dimming to black as I listened to our full load of .50cal ball cooking off around, and possibly inside of, me. I wonder what kind of helicopter that was that killed us...

yeah its still a bit buggs as the mission is still in version 0.1

Added 1 minute later:

its just my quick release of the mission. I still plan to add much more missions.

Added 3 minutes later:

btw I'm still a little shaky on the debreifing screen. I will get to it though.
Also I am trying to figure out a balanced ammobox for the mission as the ace ammboxes cointain WAAAY tuch much weapons for a normal ammobox

Debriefing happens from the briefing.html oddly enough. :) Create a file called briefing.html like this:

<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1250">
<title></title>
</head>
<body bgcolor="#FFFFFF">
<! --- ----------------------------->
<! --- Debriefings               --->
<! --- ----------------------------->
<hr><br>
<h2><p><a name="Debriefing:End1">Mission Success</a></p></h2>
<br><p>
All Objectives Complete. Great Job!
</p><br><hr><br>
<h2><p><a name="Debriefing:Lose">Mission Failure</a></p></h2>
<br><p>
MISSION FAILED!
</p><br>
<! --- End of Debriefings        --->
</body>
</html>

Note the "End1" and "Lose" there. So if you end a mission with a trigger type of End1 that first debriefing of "All objectives complete. Great job!" will appear. If you end it with a Trigger Type of Lose then the debriefing will say "MISSION FAILED!".

For weapon crates LEA has a nice weapon crate filling option. Profiles -> WeaponCrates.

I'll get to work on that soon. I need to go to microcenter and get my computer's graphics card and usb slots fixed up.
