I hope this is in the right forum. I bought the windows 8 upgrade the other day and installed everything without any issues, Or so i thought lol . When i went to play Arma 2 i noticed a fuzzing to the in game graphics and after changing settings couldn't resolve the issue, then i started to freeze up also acre wasn't working properly had a pipe error, tried running in admin mode but no joy, and so I thought hmmm whats going on here.

After much playing around with settings i gave up and decided to do a clean install of both the OS and the game only my profile i moved across. 45 minutes later into Arma 2 i went and couldn't believe what i saw =-O

On win 7 i couldn't run at my normal screen res 1280 x 1024 had to run on 1024 x 768 medium settings in gfx
Win 8 default after install 1280 x 1024 :-*
In game "High" settings as default and running 57 fps 20 fps more than on win 7
My Graphics card is Nvidia 9600 GT

I would like to know how every one else gets on with windows 8 *THUMBS UP*

dunni ask me i cant even find my way out of the editor.

You are braver than I am...I never early adopt, and definitely not for an OS.

Glad you have had no "major" problems, but how are your other apps running with it?
