CURRENT VERSION 1.2

===================================================================================================================
ARP_DROPS SCRIPT
This script is also available for download at this time.

SIDENOTE: The reason why am posting here is not only to put my addon out there a bit more, but also to receive feedback from armaholic users as well as bi forum users. If you have ideas for items that you would like to see in the game, post here and i will create a list for future updates. sadly i wont be able to update the addon until january when i get my desktop back but until then i will gather a list and by mid january 1.3 should be released. also 1.2 was slightly rushed because my desktop will be gone tomorrow, i wanted to get the release out asap, so if you find bugs or errors let me know, on the quick i didnt see any.

post your ideas please, nothing is too crazy

hey this is an awesome mod i play a SP version of dayz and i am new to editing and making the missions for the sp mod i play and iv read what to do and how to use the script and iv added it to my mission using the drop script trigger method and its not working for me can someone provide a good tut or link to a tut on how to add this to a mission.

i dont get any errors when i launch the mission.

and will the drop script work on any map

and can i make 1 large 8000 m trigger that spawns the spawn_norm.sqf loot all over the map of chernarus

@twirley. thank you. i learned how to make it within an hour or two but im pretty hapoy i did :) hope u enjoy it.

@fedus 87 explain exactly what you did. i dont have a pc to check right now and not until jan. but ill try to help.

all u should have to do is place a trigger activate by anybody. name it. and add the code to the init line. should do the trick. to see if it works turn debug on. also i suggest you place multiple triggers accross the map that trugger once u go there. that way u dont bog down ur computer. i suggest making a trigger for each city. in theory too many objects on a map will eat frame rates.

I had the idea to replace the standard trash in dayz

1. In dayz_code \ cfgLoot.hpp a string

trash[] = {
        {

            "TrashTinCan",

            "TrashJackDaniels",

            "ItemSodaEmpty"

        },

        {

            1,

            0.1,

            0.5

        }

    };

I replaced it with the name of the new items

trash[] = {
        {

        "ARP_babywipes",

        "ARP_bloodchit",

        "ARP_bloodchit_corner",

2. Accordingly in dayz_code \ config.cpp have changed nothing. Since trash there prescribed, unless you do not need to put up new opportunities loot

Basically turns out I ordered new items drop rate and the place in which these objects appear.

That's only catch is that the new dealer as there was or not.
I simply do not see.

Maybe somewhere else you can set the path to them? Or maybe I'm not the mod installed.

I have a folder @ ARP set to the root of the game arma2. And to register its connection in the launcher.

Any idea how to put my venture?
thanks in advance

thedog,

I want to ask you for permission to modify your ARP 1.2 Mod and join it in my BRPVP Mod, giving proper credits to you and providing a link, in my Mod files, to your ARP 1.2 Mod release topic at BI forums.

Thanks in advance.

Andre Luis (Donnovan).
