Having alot of bugs with CowarMod using the new Animations and Movement, but can't figure out how to remove that mod from the list. Anyone know this ?

known problem is that AI soldiers on my team get stucked in the ground. crouching

your lucky I check out the forums here, or you prob wouldn't get the right answer.

As for your issue, the feature your dealing with is not a bug, but a feature, and that mod is
CG animation replacement/enhancement pack
the files you want to remove from the @CoWarMod\addons folder are:

    smk_anims.pbo
    smk_anims.pbo.SMK.bisign
    smk_anims.pbo.v2ECL.bisign
    smk_anims_manager.pbo
    smk_anims_manager.pbo.SMK.bisign

Any other questions about COWarMod, and the WarMod series, please use the release threads in the future,
as Im on BIS forums everyday, and not here on Armaholic forums everyday.
Also keep in mind that the mods in the WarMod series are all customizable.

Hey Gunter. Thanks, Yes. I will in the future come to you're release thread for this.

Maybe you got me wrong? I wanted to remove Movement yes, because i think it didnt work so good!. Now i can because you gave me the answer, Superb! thnx

The other thing i ment was , That the soldiers AI on my team goes in some kind of crouch stand. Same as i use V. and they are stuck in that position!. nothing more :)

When i get supressed. The collors and light changed and blinks. I really want to take that one away. what mod is making that happend?

Wanted to let you know, since your using ACE with CoWarMod, i suggest you use my COwarModACE compatible version instead

No, if you remove the files you remove the shading effect, as well as all suppression the AI may do on you, and you on them.
So if you want the supression then go to the userconfig:

Arma2\userconfig\TPWC_AI_SUP
go towards the bottom and change the following code:
//PLAYER SUPPRESSION VISUALS. 0 = NO SUPPRESSION, 1 = SUPPRESSION.     
tpwcas_playervis = [b]1[/b]; //FORCED OFF IF RUNNING ON DEDICATED SERVER

Make the bolded 1 (one) a 0 (zero), and then start your game and test and see if you get the fading.

If you want to remove those, just go to ArmA 2 "userconfig folder" then click on "tpwc ai sup folder". Click the HPP file and find tpwcas_debug. Put 0 instead of 1 (tpwcas_debug = 0). That will remove those colored balls I think. Hope that helps. *DRINK*

Gunter? Is it possible to use AI_Zeus with this mod? Doesnt feel that the AI's are really doing anything than just laying on the road:-P

Already had zuez in the mod a couple of versions ago, ASR_AI is basically a better version of Zues. Other AI mods (see the readme) should up the AI. Thing to keep in mind too is the vanilla game version, and betas will effect the AI as well, be they bad or good.

The readme seen here:
@COWarMod\Documentation\FEATURES\FEATURES by SUBJECT\AI Enhancement lists a number of AI addon and mods already in the mod.

Also when you play, what are you playing?
a downloaded mission,
a mission you created,
Are you commanding the AI or a part of the squad, or a singler unit by yourself, maybe going againsted them?
what is the AI going up againsted, ect,.
Are you running COWarmod by itself --> arma2oa.exe -nosplash -mod=@CBA;@CBA_A2;@CBA_OA;@COWarMod

When i play with COWarMod, the AI do nothing of the sort, as soon as i'm spotted, Im being suppressed, flanked, grenaded, and blown to shit.

Well, they really do cool stuff, Pops Smoke, Throw grenades, and supressed me. btw i remove those supress files you told. didnt remove the Fade effect :-P.

Anyhow, I dont feel that the ai is going for cover, i can shoot next to them and they just stand there. tested in editor!

So, heres my mods



CowarModACE, ACE, ACEX, ACERU, ACENAVY, JSRS, All CBA's, and ofc. ACRE.

Works great rlly. just the AI thing.

Mission I play is Takistan Force Coop.
A day in the life
Patrol Ops. 2.04 .
ACE RoadBlock.

You know, Mission feeder games. for coop and realism.


If you know anymore of those games please tell.

Digging up an old thread and adding info to this conversation, that fading effect is from slx_suppression if you have it remove it and keep the TPWC_AI_SUP if you want suppression.
Again as stated earlier in this thread for any questions related to the mod use my release thread.
