Hi, I've been having a hard time commanding my own tank in OA with the second mission. I press "Space" to command my tank, but all the units are selected (just as if I were pressing "`"). I just want my tank to "Move There" and not all of the tanks to do the same. Commanding other single tanks is no problem.

I'm guessing there's just a simple thing I'm doing wrong...

Don't use space, select single units using F keys. You can also group your units by selecting the ones you want together and pressing 9. Then you can select groups with shift+f1 for 1st group, shift+f2 for second, ect.

But how do I select only my tank?

When I press F1, the option to "Move There" cannot be selected.

Thats because F1 is you. You dont select "tanks", you select the people in them.

There must be a simple way where I can give orders for just my driver (not from the map).

Yes, select the driver using the F keys and tell him what to do. If you're the commander in the same tank your driver is in you can also use WASD to tell him to move about.

I'm aware of the WASD controls, but they're hardly worth using. I'm referring to the point-and-click method.

As Rick has been trying to explain, there is a point n click method that has been present well, forever.

From the commander/gunner/loader position press F3 (default single vehicle MBT driver position (F4 for a section, and F6 for a platoon)) and a list of options will appear left-center, among them is the "Move There" option which will order your vehicles driver to move to the position you are pointing at -either optically (in game) or with the cursor (in map) and have selected.

Can't get much easier than that.

That doesn't work for Mission 3: Pathfinder of OA. I have command of my tank, 3 others (F2-F3), and the drivers and gunners inside those three tanks (F4-F10). I have no problems commanding them, but not my own driver.

You *definitely* have command over your very own driver, too. Just test all Numbers out, drivers are usually shown with a small steering wheel icon next to their Picture, Commanders with a Binocular Symbol and Gunners either with a Crosshair or Ammo. So, switch through all the Drivers and order them to drive somewhere, and they will do. There are only 4 Drivers so it really shouldnt be that hard to test out which one is your driver.

Also, i'm quite sure that you don't have only 10 People under your command, since the Abbrams has 4 Crewmembers, the Second Abrams 4, and the Two Bradley each 3. You should have 14 People. (Just to clear this up, only Unit 1-10 are shown in your Command bar by default. Press F12 to go one step to the right and watch Unit 11-20, where you can select Unit 11 with F1, 12 with F2, 20 with F10 etc. To go back, press F11 and you'll see units 1-10 again.)
