OK, I finaly managed to progress to the sniper range, passed that one and be now at the sniper chase, this is a tricky one to sneak up on the targets and not getting spoted. have to try a few different aproches.

Sniper stalk can be tricky but fun, if you are having trouble here are some tips.

Try and get lines of sight though the trees, the targets are red so easy to spot.
You can find locations to take them down from long range but will have to move around to get a clear view on both targets.
Don't get to close to them, it's a sniper test and that will always get you detected.

Here is how the sniper test works if your still having trouble or just want to know. :)

Day 79 is a little different form the others. I've put your reply in a spoilers so as not to ruin it for others.

heey ik got troubles with the selection part of the campaign; every time i try the pistol + assault + sniper rifle trainings, i can't complete them. the targets are popping up and i barely miss, but the hit counter doesn't count, therefor i fail the mission/training. Can you help me with it?

I've just downloaded this campaign and can't complete the Arty qualification, the rang finder doesn't come with the batteries so is useless and there's no map tools to work out the rangers accurately by hand, using the grid squares on the map is not accurate enough, can someone please help as this looks like a brilliant campaign, thanks.

It's probably a mod I'm using, but in Arty qualification course, my Vector rangerfinder doesn't have any batteries. With it...Any ideas?

Added 2 hours 7 minutes later:

Had the same problem. Just use the adjustment rounds and keep hitting adjustment and using the little corrector arrows in the bottom right until you get the smoke on target. Put in your own coordinates and use the compass (Hold K) to get your bearing. The closest tank is at 500m, the next was like 545, bearing 130 and 131 respectively. With a lot of adjustment rounds and a little guess work I got both of those. For the two on the island, the bearing of the first one was...134 I believe got me pretty much on target, and distance 880m. And the last one was bearing 136, distance similar maybe 890m. Remember, keep using adjustments rounds, and don't forget to select a cannon and hit confirm under the time delay thing every time or it will reset your adjustments. It worked for me, I just passed the Arty Qualification.

Thers no campaign folder in OA. I even tried to make one myself. Didnt work.

Edit:
OK i figured it out. (why by the emperor, i always have to figure it out? why no modder ever did made a proper and complete instal instructions?)

theres proper instal instruction:
1.In your Game folder create folder named <Cmpaigns>if it is not allready there.
The path should look something like this if you ar on steam: C:\games\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Campaigns
2. extract 100Days.pbo to that folder.
3. play

Make sure that your folder is properly named: Camaigns (note capital C and letter s on the end. I didnt wrote that correctly first time and it didnt work.

I've played several campaigns, some quite good and a couple not so good. This, in my opinion, is the best. It has a natural buildup and flow to it and you feel that you are actually a soldier, not a superhero. The missions are also very well designed with a lot of little details. Keep up the good work and I hope that you will try your hand at another campaign some time.
