Hi guys,
We are pleased to present you our next update, the 6.0.2 version is available now on our download page.




As it has been stated before on our Roadmap and on the previous posts, this version bring to the game more new content like almost all VAMTAC series, the Santana Anibal car, the VCI Pizarro, improved weapons and new uniforms like BRILAT and MOE. Also, a total of 5 new detailed vests models with woodland and desert camo (we will do the pixelated in the future) and equipments.

As most of you know, we are participating on the Make Arma Not War contest and with this version we expect to get more support of the community with this news!! Maybe before MANW contest ends we get a new updated for the contest as we are working very hard to get some new (big and relevant) vehicles :rolleyes::rolleyes:


You can support us by voting HERE, this will help us a lot to get more content in the future.


Here is a detailed list I've done on the MANW section with all content available for the 6.0.2:

- Weapons and Accessories pack, with more than 50 models, featuring a bunch of G36 Variants, the MG4, the Ameli and much more.
- All Static weapons of Spanish FFAA
- A detailed Units pack, featuring BRILAT, MOE and FAMET, all with desert and woodland camo.
- Santana Aníbal 4x4 car
- The known RG-31 MRAP.
- URO Vamtac S3 vehicles (Vehículo de Alta Movilidad Táctica) with 7 different models.
- Our first Armored vehicle VCI (ASCOD) Pizarro with detailed interior and exterior model.
- CH47D Troops transport helicopter with Desert and Woodland camo (rapel and cargo functions)

On the other hand, we expect to get more content on the community related to the missions (right now there are a very low amount of missions published for the mod) so to help the community to develop more missions with our mod, we have published a very comfortable table with all classnames, if you have any suggestion about this table let us know!! There are some missing things but we expect to finish that soon.
Also, we have created new boxes (Weapons, Launchers, Special Purpose, Grenades, Ammunition, Support, Vehicle Ammo, Supply crate, Vests and Backpacks boxes).

Remember we have a feedback tracker to report any bug on the mod, we will fix it as soon as possible.

Hi guys,
Time for update with some really nice screenshots of the EC665 Tiger ;)
First at all let me know you that 6.0.3 Version is now under (fire) testing and will see the light soon. The content on 6.0.3 will be revealed on the 6.0.3 SITREP as It has to be explained better in a context (There will be some stuff delayed due to a good cause )
According to the Tiger, we are right now fixing some "weird" and "bored" tasks, like adjusting model animations, rvmat, lighting panel for night operations etc... But definitely after texture task It has a better look than before and now It looks like a TIGER (No, really... If I were in front of this Tiger I would be nervous), please note this is still on work in progress.

Hello,

Out of curiosity, does the Tiger from FFAA mod share the same tiger as the one that will come in BWmod ? or both moding team build their own Tiger ? Cheers.

Veeeery nice cockpit lighting there, the attention to detail and accuracy is great!

I think some of your normals on the exterior are reversed though, the rivets under the doors and around the nose.

I'd also recommend making the panel lines opacity somewhere in the 60 someodd range and if possible, toning the rivet normals down a wee bit so that they don't look black.

Have you by chance baked an ambient occlusion map for her yet?

Yes, the normal is okay.. what We've just checked and fixed is the _AS and _SMDI texture as in some angles it shine at a weird way because in the _AS the rivets are represented as completely shadowed zone and it will not bright properly when the sun projects its rays on that rivets. Actually it's fixed.
According to the baked AO texture yes, it has a separated _AS file as well as in some layer of the _CO file to increase even more the effect Ambient Occlusion bring to the diffuse map.

Ah I see, so it was the AS map making them look too dark...well glad to hear that has been fixed, can't wait to see more on this bird, she be looking sharp.

This go to moderators/admins, Is there any possibility to (in future news) change the owner of this topic and the download page? It says Tisor submitted the v603 but Tisor left the team 3 months ago, we want to manage this kind of things with this account (FFAAMOD) to avoid this kind of problems.

Hello,
It is our pleasure to bring you, again, a new version of the FFAA MOD, version 6.0.3.


After the "earthquake" the MANW contest caused and the two latest DLC launched by Bohemia Interactive, we had to implement various changes, aside from the developing and the new vehicles we've been developing and that many of you have seen on our videos or our social networks.
We have decided to launch this update to include finished content from the development version, since we're launching another update after this summer and from which we'll be revealing some details in the future, because what is coming after the summer is pretty "big", and we'd be delaying the release of this version too much. We know you're looking forward to the trucks and the BAM, but unfortunately there are still some tweaks that remain for us to launch them in this version.
Furthermore, we're finalizing the first compatibility addon of the FFAA MOD. This will be the compatibility addon for ASDG Joint Rails, which allows compatibility with weapons and sights from other mods, available soon in our downloads section.

With that said, let's take a look directly into the content of version 6.0.3. The most notable changes are:
- Transport helicopter AS532 Cougar -default and camo from the ET versions-, with advanced flight model and integrated rappel.
- Combat tank Leopardo 2E, which has been textured with 4K textures with realistic physics PhysX, among other details.
- Armoured Crawler Transport "Transporte Oruga Acorazado" (TOA) in four versions. TOA M113 armed with an M2, medical TOA M113 -with commander FFV capability-, TOA M113 for sappers -with semi-articulated bulldozer- and TOA M577 for Command (with drop-down tent).
- Combat helicopter EC-665 Tigre, available in three versions, featuring 70mm SNEB rockets, Spike LR missiles y Mistral missile. Textured on 4K resolution, including a guiding script for the Spike and with AFM.
- AV-8B Harrier, with vertical takeoff function and available in 3 versions -CAS, GBU and Multi-role-.
- Woodland and desert uniforms replaced with digital woodland and desert uniforms.
- Added the functionality #bipodz to all weapons that allow fixed bipods.

Minor changes:
- Correction of more than 30 errors reported in our feedback tracker.
- New camo meshes for the vehicles Leopardo 2E, VAMTAC and Pizarro.
- Visual improvements in the wheels of the vehicles RG31, Santana Anibal and VAMTAC.
- Rappel module activated when loading any compatible vehicle -in favour of editors, it's no longer necessary having the rappel module loaded in the mission, since it already activates when loading the vehicle-.
- New icon system in the weapon inventory.
- Added HUD for CH47 chinnok, new own tandem advanced flight model and added two seats for FFV functionality.
- Complete compatibility with Virtual Arsenal and Virtual Garage.

We're waiting an agreement/official announcement from Bohemia Interactive and Valve regarding the Steam Workshop and thus, we adopt the same position of other big developers in this community, waiting a forceful response:
