Right, well I have a ton of models that I've been working on and I wanted to do a Gundam Mod of a game that fits the near level of detail as I've always dreamed since I first watched Gundam Wing. That was in 1999.

What I am looking for in regards to help is;

Key component one:
- Morphing or binding the properties of a human unit, as a regular soldier, to a machine. IE the Machine runs, rolls, aims and moves like human player units versus the controls of a tank. But still can be embarked and disembarked.

Key component two:

- Creating an artificial space environment? As eliminating gravity effect and a ground terrain. Creating Five Ground maps and Five Space maps. What theories can be done within ARMA II?

Ideally I want to do an RP server where the 5-5 maps are connected to one storyline. Players will fight each other for supremacy of Earth and Space.

Any idea's that you can relay with me to help me in this project? I estimate about 30 new machine models for Earth and twice that for space.

Thanks for mentioning. I am still working on some theories as to how to get it to work. I currently using the MS-05A model I created to fill the role as the "test" dummy. Progress is slow.

I am attempting to take the animation info of the generic solider and fuse it (as in bind it as a bone) for the MS-05A model. Only increased in size. In regards to the embarking and dis-barking I am lost, atm, as to how to get that to function properly.

Presently I am looking to have:

Free-Range Targeting (IE mouse targeting)
Auto-Locking up to .3 milliseconds (Toggle)
Variable Weapons sections
Jumping/Power Jumping (Rocket Motors)
Module Repairing/damaging (IE like DayZ cars where each item can be repaired, taken off, or put on)
1st /3rd person view with completely animated cockpit (This one will be difficult as I have to make the model see through from the inside OR have each monitor being like a target camera you have on the Apache. So basically I will have 4 monitors in the cockpit and each extract the image from an external camera source. The trip with that would be imagine quality.)
Can move underwater
10 hour fuel operational time. IE refueling and maintenance requirements.
Random breaks, damages, and accidents. (Like if you overheat the machine it'll run a chance of breaking something internal such as the CPU, Coolant Coil, Reactor, Hoses, Gears. Those are the internal things needed to run the Machine. Arms, legs, and head are not needed to run the machine, much like a car running without windows or tires, won't go anywhere.)

So far that's all I have. I've thought about making an auto economy where resources are created, and factories can be built to make Mobile Suits. The thought would be that the server would play on it's own as players are away. IE AI protects bases and such in designated areas. And the game continues on even if there is no players. Like a server side directive where the server tells the AI's to converge on X, Y point and battle. Thus when coming back you'll find wrecks and loot. Or find that one of your bases were destroyed. Either way, giving an impression of "The war goes on without you"

That is all, any help, tips, directions, mod like things, would be a great help. I wish it was easier doing this, but it seems a lot of it will be another 10 year trial and error :l

Added 14 minutes later:

Also, and sorry to double post I intend to have TWO MOD's (should I get a space map version working)

First one would be EVZEC: Earth Versus Zeon: Earth Conflict 0079

Where you're a young cadet from the Jaburo Factories and are nearly trained with the RGM-79 Mobile Suit. You'll fight your way through monstrous forces of the Principality of Zeon!

- OR -

You're a veteran Zeon Commander overseeing the African Territories as the Federation deploys its new weapon against you. With weakening resources you must find a way to come out on top. For the Glory of Zeon!

The OTHER is Late UC century. MSGSC: Mobile Suit Gundam Space Century

There will be at least 10 single player campaigns. Some original, some fanbased. However this is focused on Space battles than Earth from UC0079-120. There WILL be ground campaigns, and missions from one campaign that includes both. EVZEC missions will be included too. Basically MSGSC would kind of be a patch.

However, in order for MSGSC to work I need to figure out how to null the gravity effect for the "island" maps. Which on servers would be great...because you can build anything, anywhere.

Just an update, I've continued this project for A3 and have already put an unit in game for testing. I have a 3 member team at this time. Would like to have another coded with some experience to help out.
