hello everyone :)
i recently bought arma 3 alpha and quickly fell in love with the editor. the last few days i worked on an epic coop mission. initially everything worked fine, but as the mission got larger the units stopped shooting ( waypoints still work,but instead of an intense ambush the enemy units run down the hill and just stare at me...this isn´t exactly what i expect from an action filled ambush :/ )

i read on the forums that this might be due to a slow computer. my question is... can i make the units load in when i get into the area , so that my pc does not constantly have to controll all units , but just a small portion ? hopefully this would allow them to act a bit smarter.

Use a spawn script, there are to many available to list. I can only advice you to go through all script download sections and try some scripts which sound good to you.
You need to find a spawn script which only spawns the units when it is really "needed" (as in the player is coming to the location where they should be).

- Arma 3 script section
- Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead script section
- Arma 2 script section
