he only sets a new texture for the 2 lights and change them continously

# ReaperSF : I can appreciate what you've done. Looks pretty cool though it would be cool if you could figure out how to get some of the awesome lighting which was displayed in the lighting showcase onto that police pickup. Could barely see the lights even in the dark in your video.

Using only scripts in my Police Mod is not easy to simulate police lights.
The other Police car (Hunter) I used two textures (and a script siren/lights), but in this case it's not possible,
because the police bar lights is an item of Game, so it's not editable.
However this is a WIP, so We'll see.....

Isn't BI doing this already? cause they do have police cars in the files. with the same lighting that these people wish to achive

May be...but however this is my Police Mod with my personal jobs Like:
Police Cars, Police Units and Retexture :-)

If you haven't tested for multiplayer compatibility then look for the following:
- Unit reskins from unit init line often won't load for players in MP but always in editor.
- Unit skin resets after uniform removed.
- Unit will not respawn with retexture.

Just things I have noticed myself while doing scripted reskins in ARMA 3, which you may have come across already.

I know these bugs in MP, I done others Police Mod (with ArmA2).
Now I must think to finish my Mod, then We'll think at Mp Bugs.

(uniform player) setObjectTexture does not work because uniform player returns a string...

does not work with the uniform texture from the flecktarn retexture mod
bw is unpbo'ed
player setObjectTexture [0, "bundeswehr_infantry\Flecktarn\Items\clothing1_co.paa"];

Added 1 hour 27 minutes later:

only does not work for bluefor (all others work, but a little weird because wrong model...)
I am using dev build

Not all the Units are repaintable in editor(retexture), try with a green force unit.

I know I'm saying this kinda late, but I think the SWAT sniper should have an EBR, not a .50 cal. Also the textures look great so far, maybe you could just darken the white parts of helicopter a bit.
