yeah I haven't added the breaching to this ... it's just the interface for moving and using explosives just now. thanks for the heads up on the line 48... i must not have script errors on :S

# Legolasindar : Nice script, can you make an addon?

I'll only need to if i make a custom charge so there is no point and certainly no benefit i see. Addons can get messy... messier than code.

updated download link with repaired script to fix errors. thanks for the feedback

Please tell me you are still around to work on this. The script works great in single player but their is only 1 small issue in multiplayer left on a dedicated server. On a dedicated server you plant C4 then pick it up and attach it to object. The issue is the visual location of the C4 object does not change on all clients, However the explosive force seems to correlate with the new location. Aside from that there is only the Undefined variable in expression errors _unit.

Love this scrip and its the only one out there that allows me to attach explosives to objects. I hope you have not abandoned it. Get in contact with me and i help you with testing on a dedicated server.

Never mind it changes vissual locations properly, it just takes some time to show up and my test subject had poor FPS so his client didnt get the updated location. I will be using this extensively for a long time to come.

hey there man, I'm afraid with my aspirations and everything i just haven't been able to find the time to keep scripting that much... i know there was a problem with this script on multiplayer... as you said it doesn't update positions over networks properly or rather as fast as can reasonably be expected. I remember trying a few work arounds but the problem was proper feedback with testing.

I don't know if i will ever be able to find the time to really get my head into this again as it's just not my focus anymore. I like fixing problems and creating new functionality as you can see i hope, but it takes time that i feel could be better spent furthering my music career. That is what i really want. If this were the sort of thing that could tide me over and allow me to continue to write and record in perpetuity (or as near as can be expected) then i would jump at the chance. Sadly though, we live in a world were everyone is forced to compete for resources to support a living (unnecessarily as far as i can see) and so i must curb my focuses to stop me ultimately becoming impoverished. It's a sad state of affairs that plagues everyone. I see that we are technologically able to produce the basics of life with far less waste and to a greater volume than we currently do. If our true and current technological potential were to be harnessed then at the very least the need for massive amounts of time to be spent at a job you hate would be minimized, if not made entirely unnecessary leaving all of us to explore and create, where and whatever our human nature takes us or lets us.

sorry for the rant and please understand i am not in anyway angry with you when i say all of this. If anyone i am angry at those who would perpetuate the false notion that the currency we currently use to attain the needs of living is actually worth something. the opposite appears to be true as in an instant it can be devalued in the name of a political campaign, or to fund an elaborate get together commemorating some war criminals for their time in "service" to their country leaving us tax payers to pay the bill.

now really .... my rant is over. :) Thanks for the kind words about my work and i will try in the future to find the time to do more stuff for the community.
