Very cool.

I was quite disappointed with Take On Helicopter post release support and Hinds DLC to be honest, and helicopter on this level is something that TKOH needs to be THE helicopter sim. Can't wait guys.

v1.3 -
- Modified shadow LOD. (further messing with exterior, interior still very WIP)
- Modified pilot LOD. (you won't see a change)
- Modified missile guidance.
- Modified missions to account for new damage scripting.
- Modified campaign missions "Pin Drop" and "Hallowed Ground" to include radio
commands for ordering Dusk Knight to stop, continue, or fly to an area. Dusk
Knight will also wait until the player takes off to continue his way route.
- Modified pilot and gunner LODs to show weapons and rotor components. (blur and pylon weaponry)
- Fixed crew placement in crew fire LOD placement that resulted in their being
unhittable except in certain places. Still requires a weapon capable of
penetrating armor to prevent 'makarov' crew kills.
- Fixed vulnerability in underside of cockpit area.
- Opening doors will now allow crew to be shot.
- Pilot needs a gunner to use SAL

To access custom controls, press escape, click "controls" click the tab and mouse down to "User controls", you should see a list. The interact key is Custom user 20 I believe.

Love the mod, I have been watching this develop for quite some time now, and have been truly impressed by your teams dedication to getting the mod to where you want it.

Thank you for the release, it truly is amazing.

Now for the technical question.

I have been banging my head against this for some time now, and finally have admitted defeat and decided to ask this publicly to avoid anyone else having to ask you this question in the future.

How do I go about implementing custom maps into the MFD map?

I have a question. Between the version without the radar and the version with the radar, is there any difference in functionality/performance? I've been a bit too busy to analyze both of them and work it out, but I figure that someone on the forum might be able to give me a quick answer.

Sorry about getting to your posts late, I got tied up. The only plans for Arma 3 right now are with the cfg file released so that the bird can run in Arma 3 without any A2 dependencies. We won't be focusing on A3 all that much just yet because of some big problems it introduced to the bird such as the weapon systems and the inclusion of helicopter X causes the interaction to be thrown into dissaray.

About the radar, the differences are that you will need a LOS with TADS to receive potential target data, you will not be able to use AGM-114L with fire and forget capability, your target range will be reduced to 8kilo's and you will need to position the aircraft in a 30 degree arc facing your target otherwise the missile seeker will not have time to react to the laser, or will lose track.

It basicly extends your eyes and reach, gives you fire and forget ability and extends the width of your engagement cone.

I installed the mod AH-64 Apache, so that an error message popping up causing me problems AmmoBox, because it is not open to players!
The error message that appears when you start the mission and the following:

No entry 'config.bin/RscTitles/fza_ah64_mapfake/controusBackground/fza_ah64_cMap.Pow

then the only option is to close the message and ammobox not work for others.
can someone help me please.

I don't think it is a script that does that, but you will want to contact Franze about it as he knows more about it than I do, and he is the one that set the aircrafts handling up.

Yet, we found some problems: I (being the gunner) have trouble locking on targets in multiplayer (my buddy's flying) when I follow your instructions as stated in the forums. I hope we can fix that one together since for now it's faster and more accurate for my buddy to fly with the AI instead of me.

Of course I have to regret that I might do something wrong so it seems to be an failure without being one ^^

We're still trying to pin point what is causing that, so far the split crew is the only thing we have seen repeating, there are other small things that crop up and seem more...random.
