# NodUnit : Sorry about the long time to respond, I fell out of touch with things for a bit, send me a PM and I'll give you a way to contact him.

We're still trying to pin point what is causing that, so far the split crew is the only thing we have seen repeating, there are other small things that crop up and seem more...random.

Unm...I'm thinking if Franze is still updating the mod ? maybe I should not to trouble him, this is just a little problem,I forgot to tell you that I'm using a mouse and keyboard to fly the chooper not a flight joystick, may be you are use a joystick so you don't have this problem...

The bird is built mostly around joystick and some careful mouse control, the idea is something very responsive but that comes with a somewhat difficult to control aspect and due to arma 2 not having drag or other things, it also leads to some rather...amusing moments.

If you mean for Arma 3 however..well theres nothing that can be done about it, Franze ran into too many problems with no good ending so development for it has been ceased for now (in A3 not A2)

Alright. So the development for A2 is still running quite some time, I hope ;)

I'd love to have just one thing running perfectly on my system and the Apache is far the nearest to that point :)

Oh yeah we're not done with A2, in a perfect world Franze would have already gotten the gunner problem fixed alongside the wonky center of gravity and so on for A3 but as of this moment we literally cannot do anything about that.

If helicopterX is added then we lose the ability for clickable cockpit and a lot of the weapon features.
If we skimp helicopter X then interaction and weapons are mostly fine but then we get a wonky flight model...see video for example.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NH-2uRq_VEg In this case the spheres represent the framework to interact with things and so on.

This issue was reported a year ago by Noubernou on the tracker.

Hello,

I am a bit frustrated because I can't seem to work the "custom user control" section in how I have to change it.
Please help because I want to fly this thing.

I'm not sure I understand but the gist is that you press escape, configure, controls. Click the tab beside Show at the tob of the box and scroll down to Custom Controls, then scroll down to Custom Action 20 and bind a key to it.

Please let me know if there is further issue. Also we are doing a sort of "early" release for A3, we have plans to update the model a bit and release a texture template as well as use A3's features to enhance the aircraft, whereas before we were trying to do a balance act with one that works in A2 and A3.

If you encounter a bug or glitch feel free to post it but if you can, also document the process you went through to get it so that we may better understand the cause.

A to be included for next patch skin pack I decided to release ahead of time on account of people asking me about other national schemes.

You simply need to place the texture files somewhere, copy the path to them and then ingame in the skins menu via arming menu, in the field above the buttons enter the path and click TEST, if you did it right then the texture should replace the image at the bottom, click okay and your new scheme is applied.

Includes Netherlands, Israel, and Apache Mk1 schemes.

Those skins look great, specially the Dutch one ;-)

Anyway, I am not sure what you want me to do with this, if anything, seeing this is not yet official.
Should I already add it to Armaholic or await the official release (easier usage for people)?
Or is it ok to add, and if so should I include it in the Arma 3 release or should it be a seperate release (so a different downloadpage)?

Hmm...go ahead and release it as its own thing for now and lets see what happens. I've been getting a LOT of PM's asking about national paint schemes so having it spread around would help, and I just want to get the options out there quick as possible.

Made a quick video demonstrating how to use the skin system including add your own, if possible and if you do decide to add the files for download Foxhound could you please include a link to the video?

Fantastic mod! Thanks for all your work.

Some bug I've found is that the click helper dissapears after some time in the helicopter. No particular trigger, it just dissapears.

Arma 3 , always latest steam version, helicopters addon active
