When submitting a new file to be hosted on Armaholic there is a field for picture. There is a lack of any kind of information as to file size, picture format, picture size or hosting site link type. I have read the Submission Guide FAQ and did a search and the only info I could find was this post as well as the similar info inside the FAQ. If you could give me any assistance I would appreciate it.

I might recommend adding a little more information to the File Submission Guide might help as well.

Sorry for this being my first post here but this is my first public file submission.

Welcome :-)

Soon we will have better guides with regards to the submissions form.
As for that image. Please upload the image you want to display there (the image will show in the list, like all images you see here: http://www.armaholic.com/list.php?c=arma3_files_addons_islands ) to an image hoster. In the thread you linked you can find some hosts but there are a lot if you do not like those.
There is no restriction as to filesize/type etc. But just keep in mind these images show online so adding pics of 5mb in size is not really the best ;-)
jpg or png will do, choose the one you prefer.

No need to submit thumbs as our CMS creates thumbs for us when we upload those images to our own file area.

Also on the page itself (in the text area) you can add any more links you want to more pics you wish to display on the page.

Make sure that before you "submit" the page that you copy the contents of the text area to your clipboard!
Our CMS suffers from an unknown bug where the pages time-out. So if you take to long to submit the page you will get an error and loose all info you added to the page (when you use chrome for example to can go back and all info will still be there though).

When you have any more questions ask here! :-)

Foxhound thanks for the info. I tried the link you posted and it came up with an error about wrong URL and redirected me to the Armaholic homepage. Not sure if its the link or my browser messing up. If you could relink it I would appreciate it.
