I have decided to share this mod, originally created exclusively for the 95th Realism Unit (which is why you may see 95th in the display names), I have now decided to realism this portion of the unit mod pack to the public. I would like to start by saying this mod is still very much WIP, but when it's complete it will include all variations of the Army Dress Uniform, and possibly even the other branches of service. For now I would like to release this as WIP and try to improve the mod. Please report any errors you find with this mod so I can correct them in the next update. Also if you have suggestions, recommendations, or would like to get involved with mod please send me a PM or shoot me a steam message (Steam Name= CPT Troy Rich [95th]).
Thanks for having a look at my mod!

Sorry, did not see you released this before. You posted it in the wip section so I pretty much overlooked it.
I have moved the thread to the complete section. It does not matter this is in beta, you can just update this thread all the time with any new version and we will frontpage it ;-)

News is up on the frontpage and you can find our mirror here:

Glad to see someone finally creating some good dress uniforms. Various ranks(pvt, cpl, sgt, etc) would be awesome. Maybe even various units (SF, Ranger, Armored etc). Keep up the good work!!!

Do you need reference photos, it looks like you do. No offense or anything, I know you're working with simple retex's of existing models, but it looks really sloppy.

Not the texture itself, but applying said textures to models that really weren't meant to have them i.e. belt isn't regulation, beret looks like a AIT'er shaped it, etc.

If you need any help let me know, I have some experience in this area - http://detcord12b.deviantart.com/gallery/43096686

I am afraid reference photo's wouldn't be of too much use to me as a 4 year Army JROTC Cadet and member of the Army DEP. I have the real deal in my closet. You are correct though in the fact that these are simple re-skins, perhaps the best asset to the mod right now would be a good modeler. Thanks for the offer of help though, I do appreciate it!

Just thought you might like some help from someone that's actually serving, and not a ROTC-Nazi. Just fuckin' with ya.;D

If ya need anything let me know, as there is a difference between a non-rate, NCO, and Officer DU's.

Actually, if you don't mind my asking do you know of any modelers that might like to get involved with this?

I will be working on an update for this mod, time permitting. Currently I don't have an idea on a timeline but I will post here when I do.
